Huawei has been obviously becoming more competitive with the other brands out there, yet it seems that it competes with its own products too. Like the Nova 3i, which almost looks similar to this Y9 when it comes to specs, may now be less in demand considering that it's more expensive than this one. I think the only edge of the Nova 3i is its glass back, but for the prize with nearly the same specs, Y9 is a better choice for me so far.

ayyyy good point man. I raised this topic to Huawei too but according to them, the market of the Y series is still different from the Nova series. Also, the difference of the two in the camera segment is noticeable.

Im using y9 2019. It is very nice. The camera is nice, please don't compare it with 3i. Chipset is the same as honor 8x and 3i. Screen is bigger. And I'm using it for hardcore gaming. The setting for pubg mobile is same with 3i and 8x. Hd!! And for MOBA game, u will get high frame rate mode. From what I've read, it doesn't have corning gorilla glass. Im using mate 10, 8x, 3i and y9 2019. From what I've experience with it, it's a powerful affordable device for daily use. Ask me if you want to know about this device. Thanks

@@newtrends814 OK, but have you tried the FM radio on that phone with your outdoor Bluetooth speaker? Please try it and findout if there is sound coming out and don't forget to insert the wired earset as antenna.

@@kevinpaulbisquera124 Dapat po sa outdoor Bluetooth speaker lalabas yung sound at yung Naka insert na wired earset ay magsisilbi na Lang na antenna dapat disabled na Yung loud speaker at Yung earset kasi Naka outdoor Bluetooth speaker ka na. Kumbaga Yung lahat ng audio output ng unit eh Doon na lalabas sa outdoor speaker Yung sound. Matagal ko na po ginagawa ang Ganon sa mga naging cellphones ko sa Asus, Samsung, LG at myPhone. Nagtaka ako dito sa Huawei kasi wala sound. Napansin ko din na hindi nag auto disable Yung audio output ng loud speaker at earset. Try nyo po sa ibang phone.

Lee J.D it's cheaper but has better battery. Y9 has 4000 mah battery. The only thing it differ from nova 3i is the camera and the storage. I would still go on this considering the price.

@@nobitanobi9019 chineck ko in actual yung y9. mas elegant tignan yung p20 lite pa rin. camera wise kahit may ai tong y9, mas maganda pa rin color ng p20 lite imo (over saturated yung sa y9 tas hindi actually improve yung photo quality kasi medj andaming noise eme). Y9 chipset okay sige lamang, pero kayang kaya pa rin naman i-run ng p20 lite yung mga HD games (ROS, Honkai Impact, ML, Ragnarok, Dragonest etc etc)ngayon without lag (speaking from experience kasi nawalan ako ng p20 lite haha naghahanap lang option kung mag iibang phone na lang). Battery life considering mas malaki screen nito parang quits lang din kahit 3k Mh lang p20 lite haha

if you want a longer battery life, i think y9 is better because it has 4000mah while nova 3i only has 3340 but my nova3i can last up to 8 hours (or longer) of continued Internet browsing and the huge internal storage is the main reason why i bought the phone. it has been with me since july and i haven't had any problems yet.

8x =has better camera hardware. Premium build, 128gb storage Y9- slightly higher battery but its just 250mah it could only give u 30mins longer than 8x.. So 8x is still better.. It last up to 8-10hrs on screen time thats higher than some of 4kmah phones

it has the same specs nothing to be compared about pros y9 larger battery not fragile built cons 8x has an better camera 8x wins in aspect ratio note you need a case for 8x because of its glass back compare to y9 that has a plastic finish which is good in terms of durability
