we are in the middle of "a" void, but not a supervoid. supervoid is the Boötes Void, that is a huge area where near nothing is there, there are still galaxies there, but only 60 vs the 2000 that where expected there in that volume.

"Dark energy" and "dark matter" don't exist but instead are place holder names for the unknown.
@TravisLee3320 күн бұрын
For some reason a lot of my scientific peers do not want to reevaluate our theory of gravity. My peers would rather continue to claim dark matter and dark energy exists in the universe.
@terranovarain657019 күн бұрын
what if dark matter is smashed hydrogen a proton and electron that are still attracted to each other but doesn't make a atom orbiting at vast distance allowing the charge of particles to move through them like a pool table covered in billiard balls and allowing gravity to attract like a table covered in magnets and even on earth you are surrounded by it
@terranovarain657019 күн бұрын
I'm no physicist so don't really know all that much about it just find it crazy how every atom can be split to make something else but it just stops at hydrogen

I remember like 25 years ago first seeing stuff talking about macro atomic structure then not really anything don't know if it was a failed idea or I misunderstood the concept

use to hang out in the yahoo beyond planet earth chat room was a science chat that's where I first seen someone mention it and idk if that's what they meant it was regarding hydrogen iirc but the concept I shared is where my brain jumped to

The expansion theory Is based on the red shift theory, that red shift is evidence of movement. Halton Arp, after decades of gathering evidence, found that red shift is intrinsic to celestial bodies, which is not evidence of movement.

That's not a void, it's a super MASSIVE cluster of super massive black singularities. (Aka black holes but they are NOT really "holes", they are spherical objects that are super dense and super massive and are attracting the milky way)

It's a spot where something is pushing on the other side of the space-time fabric.
@richardchapman159217 күн бұрын
Something is pushing on me trying to get through that MOND has the inverse square law of gravity changing to a simple inverse of distance so this is a second try. If the gradient of average mass distribution changes (ie the second derivative) then the power by which gravity reduces at distance may be a function of it. This could be true for the inverse square law for light intensity too and change calculations of distance related to redshift.

Has the concept of time not being a constant over the last X billion years been considered as explanation of the Hubble Constant? Does anyone remember the theory of Tired Light?
@mcarp55516 күн бұрын
Yes, but in both cases, there must be some evidence to take either seriously. What is there to support them?
@MindFusion-ij1xl16 күн бұрын
@@mcarp555 It is a fair question I only have these in my six shooter to quickly unload: The Big Bang Theory relies on "Something from nothing" rationale as the starting point. This essentially demands anything more plausible be considered. Also, as photons move vast distances, they pass by black holes, which nearby are KNOWN to dilate time to a stop, and, altogether, fill the regions between this "black continuum" to coin phrase, with the influence of time dilation. The photons both appear to slow but get a free ride at light speed, but redden (red shift). This is the best I can give you at a moments notice. Aside: It appears a better theory of cosmology is black holes, being eternal lumps (Hawking does not consider matter going in could easily explain an eternal thing leaking energy) eternally existed in unfathomably large numbers, only to be sometimes busted apart as they collide. Also, this much more abundantly reveals cosmology as a failed venture if requiring a beginning. It appears there is no beginning, time is stopped, and only at some times does the unimportant, secondary or tertiary, visible Universe get on the cosmological stage. This gives the black holes leaking TIME DILATION far far away, collectively, to build up energy in the vacuum, what we call, Zero Point Energy. Thanks for taking the time. No pun.

@@mcarp555 Hi again. I don't know why but the reply to you is gone, so i cannot keep the thread going. I am a retired mechanic. To solve mysteries nobody else can I wipe the slate of any prior analysis first if they could not solve it. Then I lay the pieces out (mentally, like a model) and start poking around the edges, using psychology (the limits humans have that blind us) factors, and a whole lot of common sense, and over time, experience. With cosmology, a kind of scientism crept in, where a kind of dogma set in, so that, firstly, observing the obvious or noticing incongruity took a back seat to a language- that which we call math, loosely, and if the math looks nice, or trim, or succinct, we tend to ascribe great sway over the developing theories. Much of the time it works fine, but with the biggest problems, it does not. While Special Relativity captures at least a few peoples imagination and attention, the most common force or influence, General Relativity, particularly Time Dilation, in our detectable universe is where I BEGIN, not where my modeling and analysis ends, because it is very, very, well proven and of course, if you have matter, you have time dilation, even though in very low mass it is hard to detect (say, a pickup truck). Finally, if there is a theory that does not require something-from-nothing hypotheses, it supersedes any dogma as long as some evidence points the way. GPS adamantly proves GRTD for example by what it must do to adapt to it. Therefore, GRTD is my "slide rule" or benchmark, or baseline, of choice. Just for fun, remember tribal Man: The gods were around him, and over time, he would feign to know the gods. Over millennia, formal worship, where the person of authority was the Center of All. Then kings came along and their Kingdom is the Center. Then greater powers defined Earth as the Center. Then someone says Sun is the Center. Then the Milky Way is the Center. Then the VISIBLE UNIVERSE is a bubble around our Center here. Every one of these are wrong but if you draw a line across each step of dumbness or bias, you see where the next points of bias will be. I don't really know the name of the method, but it is easy to apply to many things that need to be understood- presume the current understanding if it does not explain everything is errant. See what people are avoiding and look that direction for the solution. An eternal universe, with occasional, temporary, sidereal time here and there and or more or less explains how we are sitting here talking without any something-from-nothing ideologies. If you can help me know why YT drops my replies even when it directs me back to your reply, please do let me know! Thanks!

@@MindFusion-ij1xl I have had the same problem with replies vanishing, as well as seen it happen to others. I don't know why or how it occurs. We are currently in a bubble of the observable Universe around us because that's all we can see. But to think it goes on farther than we can see is not unusual. Whether or not it's eternal is a question we have not been able to answer. The Big Bang shows that certainly _something_ happened 13.8 billion years ago, but nobody can be certain. The brightest of us make no claim either way, so we shouldn't either. But when any claim is made, such as sidereal time here and there, it demands some sort of evidence, or it's just speculation. Same with tired light. I don't dismiss such notions because of being tied to some dogma, but because there's nothing yet to suggest it's a viable option. Everything we understand now about the Universe was at one time someone's crazy notion, whether Galileo, Newton or Einstein. it was evidence that swayed us to change our minds. Thus, we need evidence of time not being constant (even though there is no 'absolute time').
