Comets, asteroids, and other minor bodies in the solar system are thought to have played an important role in the formation of planets. They may even affect the appearance of life on Earth. Although we can't directly observe these small bodies in other planetary systems, we can infer their presence through various techniques. Studies into exocomets have been pursued for decades, with recent advances in the exoplanetary field bringing them into the limelight. In particular, comets trace chemical and dynamical information that could eventually be key to determine the habitability of new planetary systems.

Hubble has been wonderful. We have the exact copy of hubble here on earth. Why is it "unthinkable" to work through mating that to a current leo launch vehicle put it into service?

I think they tried that but the old tech cause a problem, however, more advanced Earth bound equipment should be able to communicate with the telescope, maybe better than the on board tech. I wonder if that is the back up to the back up, total remote control?

To long this KZbin is to long. Many people are not interested in watching a KZbin video for almost 1½ hours, even though it is very interesting. Suggestion divide it into 3 parts.

Respectfully, you're missing the point of this video. this is a live presentation by an expert - they want to go in detail. it will be long and as a viewer of these I love that they are detailed and in depth
