Now come on guys with that one step beyond 4500 psi extreme HP air technology.... You know if the 17 round .25 cal does 850 fps 40 ft lbs... a 12 round .30 cal and ..357 cal should do 775 fps 60 ft lbs / 725 fps 90 ft lbs . Still fast enough for airgun hunting of jack rabbits, raccoon, woodchuck, small hog, javelins and called in bobcat and coyote from a blind. Could also make an 8 rnd .45 and .50 at 625 fps for 150 ft lbs.

PCPs absolutely have to be threaded these days. Part of the attraction to them is the ability to shoot them in your backyard. A pistol absolutely has to be backyard friendly for me to even consider it. Congratulations on having a pistol with your name on it!

Cheers Gregor, I'm about to (pre)order one to the Netherlands but kinda torn between .22 and .25 caliber. As for the K1 picking the .22 was a no-brainer for me (I often shoot that thing out to 100m so I wanted accuracy over power) but with the pistol it's gonna be close range anyways. I've seen you had your prototype with both .22 and .25 barrels, which you liked better?

Congrats Gregor! And a huge thank you for applying your incredible imagination & ingenuity, that was the catalyst to inspire Huben to develop and manufacture your creation for the masses! It's not often, if ever, at least in the history of PCP's manufacturers, that we see a product come into fruition from the influence of one of their' own customers modifications. Whilst I'm especially glad the "GK1" has your mark and recognition on it, I was very sad to learn you did not get at least some direct monetary recognition for your idea from Huben. However, it's good to know that Franchesco (sp?) is offering you an affiliate split of product sales. In regards to the spec's of the GK1. Thank you for taking the time to go over the preliminary specs, and doing the "imperial" conversion for us that are still "metric" challenged, lol. I know you wanted the GK1 to be regulated, which I can understand. I'm actually glad it's not, as I don't mind a power drop off after the first few shots, for I intend to keep the PSI up at the most optimal level anyway. I do wish the GK1 had a "hot swappable" air tank over a fixed one, if that's the case, which I presume it is. With regards to the barrel & db level, I've been in contact with Jacky, and she seems inclined to offer threading for adapters, but may not be in the initial iteration. So I wonder if they may make a "GK2" with more of your suggestions and PCP community preferences, following the inception of the initial model. Well, I have more thoughts, but this is getting much too long (sorry about that); but I greatly (x10) appreciate your being behind the making of your much anticipated GK1. Thank you very much. Much appreciated! Yes, I must say that Francisco has been most supportive throughout the last few years, now with sharing the profit. I must say that he is one of the most genuine airgun enthusiast where he would do anything for advancement / improvement. Like you, I don't mind that it is not regulated. Pistols do not need to be as accurate as rifles (we will not be talking about accuracy in 1 MoA... as other factors plays bigger role...), having a regulator usually reduces the max power and adds weight and complexity + it can be challenging to have fast enough regulator for rapid fire... I did however had a great idea to put the plenum in the grip that would avoid some of those issues. I would like to see the price a bit lower considering there is no reg... Let's hope Huben makes an adapter for suppressor. Thank you for the pleasant wishes as well :)

Gregor, I'm considering getting a Gregor K1 soon. but I'm a little disappointed that they didn't listen to you completely. the plenum in the handle and the regulator missing. as well as picatiny. do you think the gk1 will be upgradeable? Or will the versions in the years to come be different?

I can say form my .22 and later on .25 prototype that I would absolutely go for .25 simply because the high power feeling is hard to beat. That being said, it depends on what means more to you. I don't mind that I only get 10 shots from about 270 bar fill (this is for my prototype, the production will have much more shots per fill) because those shots are at 45 FPE :)

The only problem I have with this is you not getting a cut of all sales. Liked my k1 a lot other than slow leak. Gk1 in .25 at 40 ft lbs is respectable... but 20% lower price preferred. Also, "Hopefully late 2023 delivery" is rather vague. Evanix Viper at 18 ft lbs not gonna do it.

Well, for the reasons I mentioned in the video basically... They probably did not want to put the plenum in the grim due to complexity, and they did not want to loose shot count if the put it in the main cylinder...

@@gregorkamensek3923 lol yea in pistol form it would only get a couple shots although I have seen 50cal air pistols get 3 shots, but I’m mostly talking about a long rifle to compete with the rattler but something more “sniper like” then the rattler 357 from western air guns with a longer 32-36in thicker barrel instead of the 28 that the western rattler 357 is in, and a fast twist and larger plenum maybe even custom structured barrel

If I remember correctly the air tube can go to 5000psi right? that’s what it says on the huban website if I remember correctly, with a regulator you should be able to get 3-5 good shots

If course it is enough. I never charge any of my K1s to 350 bars either. You will just get a few less shots, but it is not linear as the air is not as compressible at higher pressures... So you will not loose much shots.

Unfortunately, it took so long to release this that other companies are now making pistols. So there is no way I would purchase this at this point in time. I am going to wait to see how other companies respond and I'm sure the prices will come down as well. You snooze, you lose, Huben.

Yeah, you are right. Although I am not sure how much other manufacturers will be able to respond... This valve is still probably the most efficient in the 3 factors that are most important for the pistol: pressure efficiency, consumption efficiency and ability to achieve high power. Maybe the companies that copied the valve might bring out something...

Hm, from what I can find online, the cp99 has 3,5 joules, Huben will have 45... The difference is quite substantial.

@@andrewgill2561 Ah, yeah, that is a totally different story... Well, the power difference is still quite big, + you get a lot more shots, and accuracy. I obviously haven't shot the production version yet, but if I take my prototype as a reference, this pistol is totally different to shoot as any other Co2 or even PCP pistols I have tried till now. I cannot really explain it, I assume it has to do with Huben action which is still one of the best in my opinion.
