You came you saw and you conquered ! Having moved well outside of your normal channel comfort zone you have over the past few weeks produced some of the very best viewing on KZbin. Once again I have been glued to my seat lapping up every minute of the video. Your slightly disjointed and random roving reporter style is very refreshing because it avoids sensationalism whilst still capturing the quirky and interesting. I can't wait to see your travels further afield later in the year - I predict your subscribers and viewing figures will continue to grow from strength to strength. Brilliant.

A testament of utility engineering excellence. Many of these little 2 cilinder aircooled boxers have been running and driving for more than 50 years. And they probably still will after another 50 years. It shames me to say that in their days and as a youth I did not particulary like them, because I failed to see the sheer genius of their simple, but robust technology. .

I used to move around in a Ami-8 and in a Mehari (made here in fiberglass reinforced plastic). Both had 3CV engines.(In fact all Citroens made in the Argentine and Uruguay had M-28 ("3cv",603 cc)engines). And worked as Citroen mechanic for 20 years they are tehe most reliable cars I´ve ever saw.A friend has a 3CV Charleston and he loads it with wife and dog and makes 1000 miles every year for holydays. He prefers it to its new Fiat 2018 car for holydays!.(BTW all the Meharís sold in the Rio de la Plata zone where make in a little town in my country(Uruguay) and a guy still owns the molds to make the fiberglass parts for the body.

I think it would be difficult to imagine a Ferrari or Porsche meet on that particular field. If any surface was designed to show of the 2CV's suspension, it has to be that one. Much respect to that chap at the side of the main road who came prepared with a deck chair, can of beer and camera. Well done! I have to say, I am really going to miss these videos when the European adventure finishes. In the mean time, what a ride!

At our Corvair convention a couple of weeks ago we were at an overpriced hotel near Chicago. They did have a huge parking lot for all the events and a huge room for indoor parts vendors and a few museum cars. Most parts vendors were outside. Just under two million Corvairs were made between 1960-1969. These events are lots of fun, you never get to see fellow collectors the rest of the year.

Looks more fun than the Triumph Spitfire Weekend in Venlo, Holland that I went to twice (I think) with my brother, supposed to be in his GT6 but ended up going in my Vitesse, than the following year in my Humber Sceptre, which was in the Spitfire convoy as the Sceptre and a Rapier, even though I was taken by a German in his Spitfire. Your destination finally done and dusted.👍 So many tin snails, and rare ones too. My favourites were the convertibles and the racing ones. I do like a lowered 2vc. Would affect its off road use, and ride quality though. The yellow one with the sliding sunroof very rare indeed. Well at least, it won't seem as long going back as getting there. 😊If you're going back the same route. It never does. I would take the ferry back most of the way.👍 I don't know if it would be quicker and cheaper. But it would give you and the 2cv a break from all the mammoth driving you have to do.
