Very nice. Reminds me of the our trips to Maine in the US. The roads there are not, for the most part, as narrow as the ones you were traveling but it had the same feel of traveling the coastal roads and seeing the ocean from time to time as you traveled. Of course there are many little spots where there are small beaches and inlets along with some very nice harbors with their collection of fishing boats. We enjoy our trips to Maine which sadly, due to Covid, we have not been able to do for quite some time. Thanks for the trip along the coast of Wales. A very pretty place.

Ahh, the memories of driving in fogged up cars as was the norm in my earlier days.
@jurivlk54334 жыл бұрын
Fogged up cars found an end when I had my first Honda! The 1978 models and earlier not only had a defrost function for the windscreen but there was a really clever system to blow the air into the doors and enjoy marvelously defogger side windows!!! A feature that many cars don't have today, I think!

Reminds me of a 41 mile journey I once made going home after overnighting at a friend's for New Year - so it was wintery but not too bad. I was in an old VW Jetta. Set off, out of his drive, turned right, down a little dip and up the other side. Turned out the 'little dip' was more literal than planned. Of the 4 cylinders, I was down to 2 and despite being a slight uphill gradient, the car was not accelerating in first gear despite my best efforts to coax power out of the engine by balancing throttle and choke. 15 Miles later, I was off unfamiliar local twisty roads. I was now managing to make progress in third gear but not really sure how many cylinders were adding effort to the progress, could have been 3 or four but the power level was still terrible. Bombing downhill along the bypass, I used 4th gear and from there the rest of the homeward journey, I used fourth but had to change down for any hint of acceleration or hill-climbing ability Using the heater to demist the windscreen was less important than keeping the heat? in the engine to dry it out ! The engine was still not performing well when I got home but the next time it was used it had properly dried out.

Phenomenal video! Some of these small towns and villages reminded me of Doc Martin, one of many of my favourite programmes from the UK 🇬🇧! The beaches look absolutely stunning! Now, Foxann loses traction due to no weight in the rear cargo Area. A couple of hundred kilograms of sandbags would help, although fuel mileage would suffer. Have Miss HubNut make a list 📃 for you of all the items needed to put Foxann proper, as she deserves it. Many here in the US 🇺🇸 are suffering Pandemic fatigue as well, therefore the vast number of infections and deaths have made this country tops of the list of the most deadly of developed countries. Even I have been afraid to travel any great distance, so your road trips, as well as Pete C's road trips, have made it so much more bearable, living vicariously through both of you gentlemen!
