I got my Zino a couple weeks ago and so far its been working perfectly. Last Tuesday (it was a national holiday here in Brazil) I did 3 flights, including a 13km one without any issues whatsoever (the further away I went was about 3.2km). My only complain was the fact I found the resulting video a bit overcompressed.

Noticed a little bit of jello. Also, noticed the camera settings changing ISO and a really low shutter speed(1/30) in 4k30fps. If you are shooting in Auto - 4k30fps, then the minimum shutter speed should be 1/60. Why does the screen go grainy when choosing one of the intelligent flight modes ? I still would like to be able to change the EV settings on the screen or through the function key. Hope the Autel Nano is better. Thank you for taking the time, and having the patience to fly the HZMP. Hope Hubsan is watching and reading these comments.

The issue with this drone is an incredible amount of jello aka rolling shutter. For a drone to be released now with jello is unheard of. This is why you need to use nd filters to keep the shutter down to reduce the jello look by having a motion blur in the frames. The only work around right now without nd filters is to have the lowest shutter speed possible. P.S. the 180° "rule" for shutter speed is really only needed for ground cameras as a drone generally will have no fast movements like a ground camera where motion blur mimics what we see when we turn our heads quickly.

Well you did pretty good until the end, I guess disconnects will haunt this drone for awhile. But at it did a good job at RTH. Changing home points on DJI drones is easy, but I always forget where to look for it, since I hardly ever use it. And that was really weird how the image went low RES when you went into intelligent flight modes. These drone still has lot of small issues, and I hope Hubsan will take the time to fix all these bugs before moving on to the next drone. Great testing Marcus.

Hi Marcus, I considered buying this drone when it was first floated and I'm so glad I didn't. If the price was say £/$100 then you get what you get and that's that. But that isn't the case here as it's around £/$600 and for that money you expect it to work and do what it says on the box! My view on the autels is that I think they will be far superior to this drone/toy, sorry to be rude but I think the time has come to be honest about it, but I do think autel may have over priced them. But I wait to see just how good they are. Hubsan, if you are reading this and i hope you are, you really need to either get your act together or shut up shop for good. We the consumers deserve better, you have a history, which wasn't exactly great, and you are only making it worst. I for one will never buy a Hubsan product after this fiasco. Thanks Marcus. I also lost usb connection on my ZMP (first flight with it). Unfortunately it didnt rth but landed about 70-80' away. Thankfully it landed safely as I was in a field but very disconcerting. Anyway you can find out from Hubsan what happened by sending them flight log?

It always needs to be in airplane mode, and data on to get the maps. A friend and I tested both of ours this week and in airplane mode all of the glitches went away. You also need a pretty good phone, as there is a lot of processing going on.

Hard to say for sure what happened on the disconnect but I highly suspect it has something to do with the OTG cable connection because once you started walking and jostling the controller about on the walk this is where the disconnect happened. So it only stands to reason that it's related to this. Are you using a case on your phone? Any possibility that the case could be preventing a solid connection? Or maybe you bumped the cable while walking? Seems like it would have reconnected to the aircraft after reseating the OTG cable. It might be worthwhile trying to reproduce this issue again...if it occurs try switching to another USB cable, taking off the phone case, etc., etc. You know the drill. Maybe one of the USB-C ports is a little fatigued ( "loose")? I know on my laptop the USB-C connections have gotten a bit loose over time with repeated plugging and unplugging and easily looses connection if I move the laptop. Maybe something similar happening? And the adventure continues.

I had a few scares with USB disconnection when flying the Zino Mini Pro, my fix is to restart the controller itself. Reconnecting the USB cable didn't do anything for me. I suspect that the problem is with the controller freezes up which in turn disconnected from the drone also. I've tried manually disconnecting the USB cable during flight and still have full control of the drone with RC (minus the FPV). Hubsan needs to fix this issue.

Hubsan has a lot of nerve to advertise an upcoming drone with a 4/3 sensor when they can't do right by their customers with the Mini drone. Rant over.

I wonder, if your problems was w/ a slowly failing OTG cable and that your 1st sign of cable degredation was fpv resolution downgraded during the creatives. It's MORE important to maintain safe stick & controller operations than perfect hi res video. So, it fails over to choosing to free up cable bandwidth by not requiring HD video being sent down the pipe. Stick & controller operations are probably minimal w/ he cable. Then, when you went walking down the path, between kicking up some dust and now the controller & phone getting lots of ground micro shocks walking on a hard path (not grass like in the normal park or standing still) the cable might have worked a little loose to disconnect or even some of the path dust to find it's way in to assist in disconnection.
