Dad had a 90’ 62 we nicknamed “the beast”. I remember him basically giving it away because the transmission was acting up a bit. So wish we still had it. This 85 is unbelievable

Just purchased on Huckberry to enter! This is my husband's dream car! I surprised him and borrowed a friend's 1982 for our wedding get-away car last June and I've never seen him so happy. Winning this would be an incredible gift! Thanks for the opportunity, Bring A Trailer!

Nice looking wagon. But hey, when looking at the centre front view, did I happen to see a hole, just above the bumper, for a manual hand crank start? That would be awesome too. I thought only Brit cars had that option.

Missing information: when you buy the checkout process does not ask for email address. When you Enter to Win, it takes your email address and suggests you must buy at least $75 from their site. How does the company know you entered and also bought $75 worth? Who can win the car this way? We’re missing information here.
@funfun_20012 жыл бұрын
Yeah we are. I just purchased an item for $115 and paid through paypal yet there was no mention of the contest or a message saying I've entered! I emailed support and am waiting to hear back.

If you're buying any car that's 20+ years old (in this case 37) then you should know your way around a wrench. It doesn't matter if "You can find someone to work on it". If you're using this rig for adventure away from home, your favorite "Land Cruiser Guy" can't always save you. If you're not a mechanically inclined person or are unwilling to learn and intend to depend on others, do not buy a classic car.

I drove this exact vehicle for 5 years from 19-24 years old. In better condition than this one. I hated every minute of it. It sucks at every way you could measure a vehicle, all just so you can pretend you’re some basic humble mans man that dabbles in safaris. They said in the video its an adventure to drive it….ha! It’s so incredibly boring and slow. The 1/4 mile time is faster than the 0-60. The novelty wears off fast.
@matts65512 жыл бұрын
What have you been driving since?
@user-yq6ov6ow7l2 жыл бұрын
@@matts6551 oh numerous vehicles. After that I bought a t100, a which is infinitely more enjoyable to drive, had a couple fj40’s, which were similar but atleast they were small and fun, then a ‘97 Tahoe which was much better than t100, then a 420hp ‘14 gmc sierra. I’ve owned slower vehicles than the fj60, including a mercedes 240d and a 300sd, but they were much nicer to drive, they were just low on power. Mercedes were much more reliable too. Fj60 has a manual choke, no thanks.
