Classic scene. I first saw this as a child and just as Mr. Evans says, I remembered him spitting on the table my whole life.

It was George Washington Hill, president of American Tobacco from 1925 through 1946, who actually did spit on a table at one of his executive meetings, and said the same thing. He believed repetition and slogans aggressively sold a product, as he did in his Lucky Strike campaign on radio in the mid-1940's {"L.S./M.F.T.! L.S./M.F.T.! L.S./M.F.T.! Yes, sir! You said it! LUCKY STRIKE MEANS FINE TOBACCO!!! Yes, Lucky Strike MEANS fine tobacco! So round, so firm, so fully packed....so free and easy on the draw....."}.

Donald Trump, This movie cut illustrates what Trump has done all along, when he recently called out the disrespect to the American Flag. Think about the things he’s said, debates, calling candidates’ names and comments he’s made, “ROCKET MAN”. Watch and see if you understand what I’m getting at.

LOL--Mr. Evans is the prototype for Donald Trump! They are both so gross!

...and both successful due to correctly gauging their public.
