It was George Washington Hill, president of American Tobacco from 1925 through 1946, who actually did spit on a table at one of his executive meetings, and said the same thing. He believed repetition and slogans aggressively sold a product, as he did in his Lucky Strike campaign on radio in the mid-1940's {"L.S./M.F.T.! L.S./M.F.T.! L.S./M.F.T.! Yes, sir! You said it! LUCKY STRIKE MEANS FINE TOBACCO!!! Yes, Lucky Strike MEANS fine tobacco! So round, so firm, so fully packed....so free and easy on the draw....."}.

*WARNING* *Spoilers* I guess I don't need to see the film now. They wind up together in the end!

Donald Trump, This movie cut illustrates what Trump has done all along, when he recently called out the disrespect to the American Flag. Think about the things he’s said, debates, calling candidates’ names and comments he’s made, “ROCKET MAN”. Watch and see if you understand what I’m getting at.

Ha, Ha! Roger O. Thornhill nails it on the head and explains advertising in a nutshell. "In the world of advertising there's no such thing as lying, only expedient exaggeration!" LOL

Wow, a 20-something Deborah Kerr! She was a classic beauty of the first order and a talented actress to boot! She should have won the Academy Award for Best Actress for "From Here to Eternity" but lost out to Audrey Hepburn in "Roman Holiday". Miss Kerr was one of those rare women who just got lovelier as they matured. Irene Dunne, Lucille Ball, Claudette Colbert and Myrna Loy were too. They all had an inner light that surpassed charisma and approached something like an electromagnetic force!

Fairleigh Brooks Miss Kerr was a tremendously gifted actress. A very few actors have the gifts you so beautifully wrote of. Ava Gardner was talented too, but not like Deborah Kerr. The way she revealed all with just her eyes. It reminds me of the scene where she & Clark Gable watch in the audience as Ava's character sings from the stage. Not a single word is spoken, but Deborah communicates all with her eyes. There was a supreme acting lesson for those who are paying attention!

LOL--Mr. Evans is the prototype for Donald Trump! They are both so gross!

Classic scene. I first saw this as a child and just as Mr. Evans says, I remembered him spitting on the table my whole life.

I have one of these that I bought at the Kid Robot on Haight Street (SF) and I take him out of his protective box every few months to let him perform. I'm taking good care of him so that he is around long after I am gone.

Play Pink Floyd's "Interstellar Overdrive" over the beginning of this instead (which they could have done at the time since it came out a year before the film), it suits this far better, it seems to me.

Ah, 12 Angry Men. True classic! Fonda's acting seems quite predictable in this one among others, but the movie needed his character.

I must agree with the uploader. Simply the best fake ad of all time. Play was choppy for me at the beginning (after it loaded), seemed to right itself later on for the important bits though.

The Immortal Story can be downloaded on eMule. I doubt anyone has seen Fountain of Youth since its original tv broadcast in the 1950s.
