I was so close to buying the blue one, and I was hoping you would review both of them. I could probably dupe all the colors, but the palettes look so pretty. But I’m not going to buy it now, I’m no pro, and I don’t want to have to work so hard to get a shadow to work. I am intrigued by the cake liners, but not enough to buy the palette. Thanks for saving me $29! And I’m soooo hoping that BH Cosmetics isn’t destroyed by makeup revolution. It would be such a shame. Thanks Angie! 💝

As far as Huda’s larger palettes go, I really love Mercury retrograde, and rose quartz. I think you should try either. However, the rose quartz has some beautiful duo chrome shadows in there. I will say they need a glitter glue or a brush with setting powered. Those shimmers in the RQ palette can make my lids look textured if too much is applied but otherwise it’s a great palette. Thinking with your personal presence in mind, you may like mercury retrograde more since it has more colorful shadows. Despite these being old releases, I’d love to see you do a video so it inspires us to use our more lol

I feel like these palettes are a great release for summer, fun looks for those who want them without adding a giant rainbow palette. The cake liners are great addition too! But I'm not sure you couldn't get these looks from a Morphe or a Colourpop palette that you already own... I'd like Huda to release a 9 pan of colourful cake liners now!

I only have one Huda palette, Mercury Retrograde, but I can tell you that that one is *REALLY* good. Not the absolute best eyeshadows in my life, but up there. It's easy to work with, pigmented, long-lasting, the colour story is really inspiring, it's a great palette. I have never tried any of the small ones but I can confirm that the big one I have tried is absolutely worth the hype.

The small 9-pans are made in China while the large palettes are made in Europe (Italy I believe), so there is a noticeable quality difference between the two. I’ve had the Mauve Obsessions 9-pan, New Nude, and Rose Quartz…can confirm that the 2 big palettes blow the 9-pan out of the water.

Wasn’t sure about the orange/purple color story, but I should have known you would make it look beautiful. I have to agree the quality of the Huda big palettes is amazing. I am loving the Rose Quartz, Naughty Nude and New Nude palettes. I keep telling myself I won’t buy her next big palette, because they are so similar, but then I see reviews, and I get sucked in. I haven’t regretted it, though.

I just got this yesterday so did a look today. Light blues are hard to find not just being dusty so I am happy with the blue and I do like the green in the left hand corner, feels unique. Plus the cake liner works great.

I actually bought the Blue & Green one this weekend, and it's so funny I feel like we've had exactly the same opinion! I really like the color story, I feel like it's quite unique to my collection (since it's not small but not huge) but blending the shadows was a journey 😅 I did get there eventually though, and I really like the look I came up with (which, btw, looks a bit like yours haha) Also love the cake liner too, I've been crazy about these lately and this periwinkle color is lovely 🥰 Anyway I love watching your reviews and I have to agree with what you said! 🥰😅

Haven't tried Huda and pretty sure I never will. I have other palettes with similar color stories. Between that and reviews that say it isn't great, no need for me to spend the money. Love that you can take the worst products and make them look beautiful. Also glad to find someone who loves orange and red and bold looks like I do. The tips and tricks on building and blending have helped so much! 💜

The Huda Beauty Rose Quartz palette is absolutely one of the BEST & most beautiful eyeshadow palettes out there. I have hundreds of palettes & that is also the one I get the most compliments with. I'd love to see the looks you would create with it! 💖

If you swirl the two split pan shades together you get a beautiful color (for both palettes). I really like these. Everything blends and works well on my eyes besides that one dark purple.

I have a new pet peeve for palettes: cake liner mixed with powders. Granted, it's a step up from having a concealer mixed in with powders, but still. I don't want to mix water/ wetness with my powders.

As an artist who loves color in my paintings and color in my eyeshadows, I had a knee jerk 🤢 reaction to the purple and orange palette because of the color theory like you mentioned. I might try them out but while the looks you created are very beautiful, I’m can’t decide. The quality of her nine pans have been so-so. You have some wonderful tips for color beginners too. The purple and orange is simply not for blending the colors hence the name, but..:I don’t know…the purpose of a palette is to be able to blend the colors at some point, right?!

I was really curious about these - the blue, green and purple one is definitely my kind of colour story! 💙💚💜 But I was expecting more blendability and less patchiness from Huda Beauty for sure! Not so certain now that I am going to get them, seeing that I have similar colours in my collection. As for blending oranges into purples, I actually did a look with purple and orange shadows for Halloween - those were both metallics, and they blended perfectly, there was no muddy brown. I feel like with the mattes it can be a little more tricky, but if you just add a little bit of red or magenta into the blend, that should solve the brown muddy cololur problem and make it seem like the orange just turns into purple seamlessly. 💜🔶

@@onewhisper22005 I would say that likely part of the reason why the smaller palettes don't seem as nice quality. Rosy neutral tones are much much easier to formulate than bolder, darker colors, and people really seem to forget that.

I saw these in person and I was turned off for some reason. I think I already have all these colors in my collection and I literally had her Sapphire palette which is so similar to the blue one, but I decluttered it recently. Plus her colorful mattes are kind of middle ground. And the orange and purple make me think of a sports team even though I don’t follow sports lol I have a 5 pan colourpop palette that reminds me of the blue and also plenty of oranges. Purple is really the hardest color to find a good formula for, so I’m still on the lookout. I don’t have much to spend though at the moment! And omg Lush Life is GONE?! I’m treasuring that palette for the rest of my life omg That and Limoncello are my go-to spring/summer palettes.

I thought that cake liner was in the split pan. The pan seems too small to contain 2 eye shadows, especially because they are triangle-shaped, so you probably need tiny brushes to avoid mixing and i?m not sure how that is possible in shared corners. :/

Angy just wanted to tell you that, since you moved, your audio has this static background noise, I don’t know if that’s just how the microphone’s audio quality is, I know you got a new mic after the move, but maybe it’s a thing that can be fixed by changing the settings or something else ☺️ I’m not a bam in your face colourful makeup-wearer (except for on the lips), but that first look is STUNNING, I might have to recreate that (even though I only own one matte blue and it’s very deep… I know, what am I doing on your channel? Still on your first look and the insane fallout...looking at these colours, I think if you have a brights or a rainbow palette in a formula you love, you can recreate these looks. As I have sensitive, watery eyes, cake liner is not my friend. I used either good gel liners (Kiko, Nyx or LA Girl are all great) or the Lethal pots 🤔 You have, as always, turned a not great formula into a lovely look
