And this is why i absolutely love watching your videos and especially reviews! I use high prescription strength tret (.1%) daily most days. I works beautifully for a majority of my skin but around the mouth area if I go to close with that strength I still get flaking! I’m fine daily on the lower.05% but I prefer the higher strength for the difference it’s made. So your reviews make a big difference on if I think a foundation may or may not work for my skin! I’ve got hundreds of foundation and concealer and I always buy 2 shades generally for summer/winter or more when I was a practicing mua still. I’m fed up with spending so much money these days when I’m not a practicing mua anymore as i simply can’t get through all these types and shades of foundation and concealer myself anymore. I am a huge advocate for mixing both, for formula, colour, texture etc. but there is still only so much one person who works 6 days a week and puts a full face on daily can get through alone! So it’s lovely to see what it looks like on someone with similar skin type to me so I can tell if I’m likely to actually like it or not! Your reviews are so in depth and honestly just the right amount of information. Lots but not to much! Thank you ☺️

I use tretinoin 0.05 6 days a week, I switched up to 0.1 last year but my skin was playing up so I took a break and am now staying on 0.05. I totally avoid the nose area and that's definitely helped. @@hanbeauty101 you’re welcome. I certainly do and appreciate them hugely! I’ve been using tret for well over 15 years now. If not 20 I think. I have always avoided the nose and mouth area but it does travel and if I stupidly do not wait long enough and throw my moisturiser on it has a habit of travelling to close and causes dry areas. I must admit I have been toying with the idea of going back down to 0.5 again. I did that a few years ago after 3 years of using the higher strength and my skin appreciated it but I did find after a couple of years it just didn’t feel quite right. So I raised it again and it’s been great. But 05 is actually more than sufficient for long term use so maybe I should just do it again. How long have you been using tret?

The HUDA foundation does come in a shade called Shortbread 200B, which is cool light, which might work for you. I tried the VB yesterday and it really wasn’t enough coverage for me and I used it over my full proof color corrector. I could see dark circles. Maybe I could use it first for skin care, but I can’t use it for a concealer. An expensive mistake. I do love many of the VB products, but some, like this, don’t work for me. I did pick up the Westman Atelier. I will try that instead. I do have the Singe blushes. The best color for me is Risky Raisin and I really love it. The others are too warm for me. I hope she comes out with some cooler colors.

A few people have recommended the shade to me now so I will definitely try it if I do pick another one up, thank you. Yes, there is definitely not enough coverage with this concealer unfortunately, and I don’t think it is worth the price. I hope you enjoy the WA concealer as much as I do ❤️

Hi Hannah, I’m very close to skin tone as you and I got this in Shortbread 200B described as for light skin with a pinky beige undertone. I wore it today, I find it a little too matte for my liking. I don’t dislike it. It’s wearing long, I’m just more into a dewy, healthy skin look. 😊

Custard I believe would be too deep for you, it’s a tad deep and wrong undertone on me and I’m like a shade and half darker than you. I basically don’t seem to have a shade match in this foundation 😢 I have 3 minis, custard, macaroon and toasted coconut and none of them work! The VB concealer is way too pricey for the amount we get, I have to build it up as it’s very light coverage if not then I have to add another concealer on top to get the coverage I need to cover my dark circles

Hannah 🤍 I'm very happy to see your review! I've been studying the Huda shades, as a light to light-medium super cool-tone it's always a struggle. I'm going to order the 3 travel sizes to be safe (200b, 210b & 255b). I'll forgo the free brush, which bothers me but not as much as having the wrong shade 😉 I recently discovered Huda's color corrector in Cherry blossom as a perfect shade for my hollows under my eyes. First thing I thought with Victoria's concealer pen was amount of product!! As you may remember in 2017 pens were all the rage until we realized we needed a new pen every other month 🙄 I still have a Dior pen like that, which I rarely use because of that reason. Hi Hannah the foundation looks beautiful I ordered the shade 140 so hopefully it’s not to light as I find with huda tends to go a tad darker I’ve got the old huda one & that tends to go a tad darker I love the. Blushes they are beautiful will have to pick some of them have a lovely holiday ❤

I love the BB face base primer I actually just ran out and need to purchase another one. I just ordered the VB last night it took me days for figure out what shade to get. Crossing my fingers it's not to light or too warm idk why all the med shades are warm in her line. I think the concealer would best work with skintints or bare skin on natural light makeup days. I also think maybe if u used a tiny dot of color corrector in the corner of the eye first then the concealer you would like it more . I saw a review of a women that does have very strong blue under her eyes she did one I with a tiny bit of the Huda colors corrector and 1 without both sides actually looked beautiful but the side with that tiny bit of corrector looked perfect . I am also gonna order the WA concealer today . O the brush tip is just for easy dispense of product in areas not to blend and she recommended finger application as best method but I know some people prefer a brush .

@@heathersargent289 it’s a beautiful primer isn’t it. Yes the concealer definitely needs a brush, it’ll go well with skin tints and no makeup looks. I’ll use corrector with it for definite but for my review I wanted to show what this does on its own, but for that price I really don’t think we should need another product. I’m a bit disappointed with this release ❤️

I have ordered Vanilla shade in the Huda foundation as I have a light complexion, but I think it’s too light for me, Evri has lost my parcel so I think I’ll Order a darker shade anyway. The VB concealer looks lovely, but not worth the price I don’t think. I’m waiting for my westman atelier concealer to arrive as really looking forward to that. X

Love Hudas palettes and have one lipstick and blush from them. I've never tried VB. I have considered the eyeliners before but the shades I liked had sold out. I will have to investigate further. @@hanbeauty101 there are 2 variants, The Original (white cream) and Golden (golden cream). I know both have golden shimmer, but I had the Golden variant and it was horrible on my skin.

I have never heard of Singe before, but I find the name amusing, as it means monkey in French. I looked up the ingredients and the blushers contain talc, so it's a no no from me.

@@beeshopspink I accidentally found a better way to close it during this review 🤣🤣. It’s annoying though. I like the way this shade of Westman atelier corrects, it’s the VB that’s too light but I’m not buying a darker one. With WA I have the lightest shade aswell to brighten and I use this shade to conceal and correct eyes, I love this concealer sooo much. Are you enjoying it? ❤️

@@hanbeauty101 it’s hard to tell because sure I got both products slightly too light so I’ve now ordered L3 (WA) and L1 (VB) which better work out 🤑 I think the formulas are both good but the VB did crease on me I just tap it in again with my finger so no biggy. I’m going on ban island for a while until holiday releases as I need to actually really play with all my new products. I LOVE the liquid silk!
