I never watched this film as I couldn't get passed what a tool he looked like on the cover. But this game looked great fun! Reminds me of The Blue Brothers a little.

Haha yeah... you're not wrong there! Oh and yeah, it has a Blues Brother/Addams Family type vibe to the game - it's decent enough and worth a quick play, but the controls can be fiddly especially with precision jumping 😇🕹️👌

Excellent, good to hear. The precision jumping when trying to land on platforms can be a little fiddly at times, but all in all I enjoyed this game... which is definitely challenging! 😇🕹️👌

I didn't think the movie was as bad as many people said, I found it to be a typical 90's fun romp. The game however, was fantastic and one I finished many times. Games like this, Turrican, Creatures, Mayhem in Monsterland etc proved that great, fun games were possible on the C64. Pity it was rarely the case.

When platform games got it right, then they truly excelled... I think the Amiga had plenty of platforming classics to offer and seemed to perfect the genre. However, the trust Commodore 64 had some classics too, like the ones mentioned... in particular Turrican! Wow, what a game that is... even still! 😇🕹️👌

The movie reference is almost more obscure than the game's... :-O

Was a fairly 'daft' movie... but funny in places 😇🕹️👌

Back in the early 1990's, me and my older brother bought an issue of THE ONE FOR AMIGA - with 2 cover disks, including the playable demo of HUDSON HAWK. At first, it was absolutely hard. Even the level was totally hard to finish 😹. But when i played the full game on my Amiga 500 in the mid summer of 2011, i loved ❤️ it so much, i had to play it everyday 😹😺👍🕹️. I even love the loading screen 😺👍🕹️. The Commodore 64 version of this game looks and sounds absolutely retrospectively brilliant 😺👍🕹️. Even the multiload on the tape version seems kinda frustrating 😹. Also, i have seen that Bruce Willis movie on a VHS tape for the first time somewhere in the early mid 1990's. And i still have it on DVD 😹😺👍. Thanks for showing this review 😺👍🕹️. A big retrospective like 👍🕹️ from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.

I've just 'Finnished' a game that you might enjoy - scheduled for a video near the end of the month. A clue was within this comment 😇🕹️👌

Yeah I like this one, the controls can be a bit 'fiddly' at first, but this is definitely one for platform fans... especially those who enjoy Rick Dangerous style games 😇🕹️👌

I actually liked this game on the NES, it wasn't horrible.

Reminds me of games like Addams Family or Blues Brothers... for people who like cutesy style platforming mayhem this will be appealing 😇🕹️👌

I didn't care for this movie back in the day, but it certainly has its fans: I've known more than one person who practically threatened me for DARING to say that the movie was only so-so. Anyway, didn't play this game but it actually does look like something I would have enjoyed.

IMDB only gave the movie 5.7/10.... which is probably a fair representation. Funny in places... but generally just 'daft' haha - but those styles of movie were brilliant when we were kids, they just haven't aged greatly. The game however, still holds up to be very decent! I like this one 😇🕹️👌

Hudson Hawk should have been a great film, the plot idea is pretty fun and the cast is great. what ruined it was the absolutely horrendous directing and editing. the film is so poorly put together that nothing makes any sense. the jump cuts between different scenes is mind jarring. it's a shame.

Was a zany movie alright, but I did like Bruce Willis' comedic acting... 😇🕹️👌

I had this for the C64, but I don't think I got very far into it at the time.

It's surprisingly a lot tougher than it looks isn't it! Its just a bit 'fiddly' when trying to precision jump onto objects sometimes... still, a decent game once you get the hang of it 😇🕹️👌

To tell you the truth, this is a game I never gave a chance because the movie didn't appeal to me at all. It might today, but not when it was released. The game seem far better than the movie 😅
@CheekyCommodoreGamer11 минут бұрын
Oh yeah, this game was much better than the movie... I mean, back in the day I'd laugh at anything, that was my humour when I was 10 or 11 years old... but it hasn't aged greatly! Very cheesy to watch today haha. Good game though! 😇🕹️👌

great graphics, but that hero sprite is nothing like Bruce Willis lol
@CheekyCommodoreGamer17 минут бұрын
He's a squished down version haha... funny, because on the C64 game 'Die Hard' they didn't get his sprite right on that either... maybe there was something about using his likeness in games on the C64? Not sure 😇🕹️👌

Bruce really put out some junk between die hard and pulp fiction. Good game though.

Yeah the only movies I liked between those classics were 'The Player' and maybe at a push 'Death Becomes Her'... and when you think about it the only decent ones to follow the original classics were 'The Fifth Element', 'The Sixth Sense' and 'Unbreakable' - but like you say, decent enough game 😇🕹️👌
