Hudson O'Neal Recovers From Costly Mistake to Win, Mark Whitener Is PISSED After HUGE Wreck

Hudson O'Neal won his second race in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series recovering from a costly mistake that saw him being shuffled backwards.
While O'Neal was able to recover primarily due to a caution, Mark Whitener saw his night end after his car was junked alongside Donald McIntosh and Mike Marlar. Whitener was not happy and did a long walk down the back stretch where Lucas Oil officials attempted to calm him down.

Flo’s camera work is less than impressive. Commentators are talking about certain cars battling for a spot and they are on O’Neal out on a Sunday drive. Come on Flo!

One of my big criticisms is they focus on the leader too much. So we don't get to see drivers like Moran go from 23rd to 8th.

It wasn’t on camera who caused the incident with Whitener. They stopped him before he could get to whoever he was going to. That’s two incidents in a row that are drama and Flo hasn’t caught. Kinda interesting to watch how many more times this happens

😂😂 They do always have multiple views that usually cover the whole field. There’s been numerous crashes that I’ve witnessed on Flo that weren’t in the main view, but were in the view of another camera. The Whitener incident was also during a restart so it wasn’t like the field was stretched out and mixed up. Should have been pretty easy to find footage of that incident. They aren’t recording these races with one camera. Common sense ain’t so common these days

There was no replay of the wreck. There was also no video of Whitener getting mad at Erb just the announcers saying it.

I agree on Flos coverage it's like the camera guys focus on one area and the annocers on another! I think Hunt to Front guys have the best coverage and cover all angles the play by playguys could use some work but as long as it's not Dewayne Keys I'll take it.

Guys flo is a business. They have a lot of overhead I'm sure. Nothing is free and if you really think about it, $150 or whatever it is, really isn't that bad. Cable or Internet is way more expensive and all you get is predictive programming and propaganda. I threw my TV to the curb 25 years ago and I didn't watch anything until KZbin came around and flo/dirt vision. If I had cable/internet one month would be as much as a whole year of what flo cost. I know times suck but it sucks for everyone including business owners. You can literally watch tens of thousands of dollars worth of racing although I suggest people support their local track by physically going to the track. Good day
