You are going to say he killed her, but sorry he didn't have to know she would get a heart attack and he didn't have to do anything about it, he was there to siphon. If somebody was to do anything it would be Elena, a med student (and doctros child) and they were in hospital, where such things happen on a daily basis. Yet, it would be Kai held responsible for everything bad that happens 🤷🏻‍♀️

If they hadn’t gotten Kai to siphon the magic of Caroline’s vampire blood out of her mother her cancer would have gotten even worse and she’d have become a vampire like the other cancer patient, of course it didn’t actually help her completely but it was better than seeing her suffer even more and be a vampire. But I don’t disagree that Damon’s at most times selfish, but Elena on the other hand I don’t blame her for that I blame Damon because becoming a vampire and being with him really ruined her character and I liked her.

If I remember correctly, Vampire blood can't cure cancer, it actually speeds it up at a deadly rate... They tried it with another patient and he was okay at first but he eventually turned into a phase 10 patient. Even if she was turned into a vampire, she'd still have the cancer cells in her body..
