Whoa, Alycia handled that tough question like a boss! Pointing out that she would actually have to read the article first before commenting on it, but also following up saying it was a "good question tho!" Haha, I love her
@addos9994 жыл бұрын
yea, stupid dick interviewer asks one of the actor's about the writing. ask that question to one of the fucking producers, ffs.

I like that she isn't a rehearsed person. You can tell when she is truly hearing about an issue for the first time (Or at least it's brought to her professional attention) and she takes her time. It's refreshing.

Great job at handling that misdirected question about POC representation, ADC! What an odd question to throw out especially if your guest might have not read the article? I laughed at how honest ADC was about LA pollution! Haha, honesty is the best policy.

The article about POC in TV shows after 1 episode and Alycia trying don't spoil about Victor Strand being black and an important character in the show. Also she's so honest about the LA pollution, the interviewer was like we have beaches here too, and she was like but in Australia the beaches are clean 😂

By now Alycia has moved on. To pose that statement or question about Lexa could bring back any mental conflict Alycia may have had. Respect Alycia as she continues her career.
@koolkat7238 жыл бұрын
This is an unpopular opinion, but to me the response was a little awkward, however it wasn’t unexpected. She wouldn’t have anything to say about racism because it doesn't affect her. If they asked Scott Lawrence, Keith Powers, or Maestro Harrel, then I feel like the question would have had cultural relevance, and a more honest answer about racism in Hollywood.
@Sevta228 жыл бұрын
It isn't a matter of whether she's affected it by it or not tho, and I'm not really sure that a different answer would have been giving by those you mentioned, if their characters were still alive. I mean after all, she's just an actress, she has no control over what happens to the characters, and more importantly, her character is still alive. Which means there's no way in hell she's going to criticize the show in anyway without creating a shit-storm, for herself and the show. The question, while very important, was misdirected, I think. The producers or the writers are the ones who should be answering this question, not a foreign actress who'd not even bothered to watch the original show if it wasn't for her job.

Bianca Culpo. Yes Alycia must protect herself from the P.C. mental pathogen. This train of thought spreads across Western World like 'Walking Dead' syndrome !
@carpediemearth2 жыл бұрын
Do you not understand that a question about the way the shows are written with respect to race is not something to ask the ACTORS, it's a question to ask the WRITERS of said shows

I don't think the race question was bad because the question was related to her show...
@DavidHill3336 жыл бұрын
Bianca Culpo. Question was low class P.C. designed to trip up Alycia. The moral superior tone of the interviewer as she asked Alycia was eerie. She was rude and self centered. Typical and predictable HuffPost type question ! Alysia handled the situation without missing a beat !
@HollyBerryDOOG2 ай бұрын
What an awful question in regards to black actors being killed off. Why is everything about race these days? We’re all the same, stop over analysing.
