V9 is a very fast and flexible cube, I had to set up it 4 times until I found one that I liked (practically the Yoo cube setup, but with one or two different lubes) and in the end it was the cube that I liked the most (BC Version) . But I think it is a very difficult cube to set up and a very fast cube, I only recommend it to those who like fast cubes.

@@papuholo9924 no, I just have the magnetic version. And for me this version is the "worst" of all RS3M (the cube isn't bad, but I like the magnetic versions of the other cubes better). I thought the magnets were weak, I think the BC version should be better

I have the WRM V9 BC UV. It’s pretty fast out of the box but it’s really shiny and has super good auto aligning I defentjly recommend it!

42:32 bit of a mistake there in fact it's not the cheapest ball core UV cube because it doesn't have UV lol and I think the Rs3m V5 is still recommendable at the under 30 dollar range because it offers UV and more adjustments compared to the 20 dollar maglev guhong pro which is insanely limited in terms of adjustments even a basic screw is more adjustable LOL

I was referring to the ball core version of the RS3M V5 which does have UV. The Super RS3M ball core is the one without UV.

17:53 i dont think its about it being bad, its more that its a confusing cube because its named the super rs3m v2 (the follow-up to a great budget cube) but its more expensive than the weilong v9 (the follow-up to moyu's flagship 3x3s) also 20:44 is not really right, theres the qiyi m pro ball core uv at $17,99 (edit: he corrected it at 25:44)

This is an awesome video and it covers almost every 3x3 cube in 2023! I prefer the RS3M V5 Ballcore though. It is like a V9 but with a different feeling and it is just fast out of the box. But with setups and lube it makes it better to solve! Getting sub 7 with my RS3M. Would try the V9 though!

Uh on the topic of cheapest ball core uv coated cube, it is neither the moyu rs3m v5 or the dayan guhong pro Dayan Guhong Pro doesn't even have UV coating, it has glossy plastic which isn't the same thing. For cheapest UV coated Ball core cube, it is the Qiyi M Pro Ball Core UV which costs $17.99 (which you unboxed in this video)

Not a stupid question at all. I really liked the GuHong Pros at the time and now that I've done lots of solves on the RS3M V5 I've realised it's probably a better cube than the GuHongs at this price. These were just my first impressions and I planned on doing a follow-up comparison shortly after this one and I haven't got around to it. I have a video called "We Tried Every RS3M" coming out soon which goes more in-depth on all the RS3Ms including the V5 Ball Core UV Sorry for the long comment. Summary: RS3M V5 better, its hard to tell in first impressions. Hope this helps.

Serious question. How do you tell them apart once they are out of the boxes?

Good question. Some cubes are so similar that its difficult to tell be feel or appearance so I put coloured stickers in the centre caps. Usually though the different versions will have different colour internals or surface finishes and they would typically feel different so its not too difficult to tell them apart.

I didn't like the Super V2 Ball Core version myself. I would personally recommend either getting a replacement part for the Super V2 or maybe getting some more lubes and experimenting with different setups on the cubes you already have.

GuHong Pro is cheaper and requires less setup imo. Then spending some extra money on lubes is the best plan. I'd say the 55mm Standard version is the safest one to get. MagLev isnt an upgrade for the GuHongs

Hello there. I jusy wanted to ask. I have the Gan13. Now, should i go for the Gan 12 or the Gan 11m pro if i wamted another cube? The Gan 13 dosent suit me as much as the Tornado V3.

If you want another cube and it was to be specifically GAN, the GAN 12 is said to be better than the GAN 13. If you don't mind which company the cube is from, I quite like the GuHong Pros, they're also relatively cheap compared to GAN flagships (and still have great performance). You also get to choose which size to get. If you like the size of the GAN 13 get 56, if not get the 55 (the difference between standard and maglev on these cubes are negligible so go for the standard). If budget isn't a concern, consider trying out the WRM V9 Special Edition, or maybe getting some lubricants to set up the cubes you already have to optimise them for your turning style. Hope this helps :)

RS3M V5 Ball Core UV is cheaper and that lets you spend a bit on lubes to set it up. If you already have lubes then the WRM V9 SE is also good.

I think the Tornado V3 is a safer option than both the WRM V9 and Huameng YS3M since it requires less setup to be good. Most of these cubes will probably need setup but when I tried the Tornado it was great out of the box.
