That was strange that those 2-speed doors did not open together at the same speed. At first I thought it was because there were no doors at the top landing to provide resistance but when you opened it at floor one, one was still faster opening than the other. Really Cool!!!!

You need to go to VCU's Fine Arts Building in downtown Richmond, VA. It's elevator is huge. It has to be 300 square feet. It's for moving big sculptures within the school of the arts.

Cool! It looks like the rear door uses two separate operators. The right half opens sooner than the left half. I've been on a similar elevator that serves two adjacent buildings with staggered openings. The zone lock is worn out on one side, so you can make it open up between floors! It also has separate floor indicators for the two buildings it serves.

I remember going to a hotel in New York back in 2013 & the elevator door opened up to just a door & nothing else on the mezzanine level. The shaftway door stayed closed.

That's strange how the 2 speed door on the right before the left 2 speed door opens. But when it closes, it closes together. It's a Dover/Kone.

An interesting elevator I rode once had a single door on the outside and a 2 speed door on the inside.

That thing must have one colossal pump! You can hear it start up from the inside or the elevator. Might be a little low on oil judging the the loudness increase at the end.
