I don't understand why Toyota did not put the TSS 3.0 in the 2025 model year. The camry has it. It just does not make any sense to sell a premium vehicle with 5 year old safety technology. Kia is going to eat their lunch with their new 2025 Carnival Hybrid that has all the bells and whistles at the same if not a better price and a better warranty. Toyota needs to do better.

I think that the feature that honks and calls your phone if you forget your kid in the back seat is just a pure marketing BS from Toyota . Sure it technically could save a child in a hot summer day, but the execution of it is a bit stupid and unnecessary. Lets say you locked your sienna and start walking toward a store (cause thats where shit like this usually happens. Stores parking lots) So, your sienna will beep 9 times at you and if you dont open a door, then the system would wait 90 seconds to start honking the horn. Well, in 90 seconds you most likely be inside the store, so you wont hear or know which car is it! Then, minutes later it will attempt to call you through Toyota app or something. Well what if you dont have the app? Or you have no connection? Why couldn't make something like this: You walked away and your kid is still inside, the Toyota should start blowing the horn and then if the doors are still locked, it should turn the damn van on and keep the AC on LOW with a text on the screen indicates that the AC is on or something like that. Now, that makes more sense to me, way more than this unless beeping that they made. Not to mentioned that while Sienna attempts to get the driver's attention, a kid that is inside all this time, seats there with no AC!

Lack of a TSS is going to prevent me from getting a new car. I expected the 2.5 or 2.5+ (did t expect the 3.0). Will hold out for 2026-if it still doesn’t-looks like the Carnival hybrid

Sienna is sucking now. Who uses a fridge and vac and the sensor? 99% won't, so why offer it. Those who can't remember their kids or pets in a vehicle should not even drive! It's time to innovate, not resell the same damn car for 14 years in a row.

Price went up 1.5k on base in USA, but not all models was there an increase. There is more than just the bigger screen - and its on all models but the base which hardly anyone buys. However, I don't disagree with your overall point. However, to be fair, the Honda starts at 2k more, the Pacifica gas starts at 500 more (but with incentives and offers, it is cheaper - although garbage). Only the Kias have a lower MSRP - and they do across the board. SO agree with your overall point - you just took it too far.

The way that Toyota is treating its customers and overcharging and underdelivering is terrible. The Toyota dealers here in the gta are horrible to deal with and have totally put me off buying a car. The multitude of problems with the new hybrid turbo engines and gearboxes is also heralding a new far lower level of reliability.

It would be nice if they put a new 360 camera system in. The resolution on the current one is awful. I'd like to see a front passenger seat that goes up and down, plus LED interior lights.

Old Toyota Safety Sense from 2019 still. Fridge and vac are a meager enticement. Get a real Engel or ARB 12V fridge with a lot more space and a vac with powered beater bar and hose for less than the premium to get it built in.

They can’t produce enough of the models they have now, how are they are going to add new models. They need to ramp up production on the Sienna and have them available on the lot instead of hoping you can get one in three or four months. Production is very disappointing on the Sienna. Maybe they are doing this to keep prices high and they already cost too much. Ramp up production Toyota on the Sienna!!!!!

Just test drove a 24 and couldn’t believe they don’t even include wireless CarPlay, and the rear view camera is awful. Hopefully holding out for the 25 since the interior is better than the Odyssey

These changes are very disappointing. Too little, too late, too ridiculous (a fridge and vacuum? come on.). What we want is a prime version with increased power, and more/better self-driving features.

Very disappointing “refresh”, esp for XLE owners who lose out on the 12.3 digital cluster at higher trims.. why..? Guess I’ll hold onto my ‘24 XLE until the redesign slated for 2027/2028. Hoping for a plug-in hybrid variation. Dream van.

Any further news on bench seats for the 2025 model, or is it still only available for LE and XLE trims (the lowest two trim levels)? If the bench will remain, any info on the latch system for car seats - e.g. the ability to fit three across with latch, assuming that you have the right car seat size to fit all three?

Lack of TSS 3.0 is a dealbreaker, Kia's system is light years ahead. I'd buy a Grand Highlander instead just to get TSS 3.0

These minor changes are not worth the price increase, the lower trims are just a pushover and the limited and platinum are expensive.If someone paid a premium over msrp with greedy dealership for these upgrades that would be the biggest mistake of their lives.

It’s a lot better than most refreshes wheee the headlight and taillight design is changed up just a bit. This has safety, conveniences, and multimedia upgrades. I respect your opinion but I must respectfully disagree ha ha thanks for watching.

It was only on the pre production models and never actually came to customers. How come you don’t like it? It doesn’t take up space in the front at all and I would say the vaccum is quite useful?

We'll just keep our 21 Sienna Platinum for another year or two and see if the 360 view camera becomes available on the lower trims or something. Can't stomach giving up that space behind the front seats for something that we'll hardly ever use.

Agree FridgeBox and vacuum are terrible. Takes up too much space…that’s prime real estate for kids walking, backpacks, bags, etc. Should be optional for those that don’t want it across all trim levels.

All Siennas are hybrid, so the huge battery prevents the ability to fold down or slide to the middle. The Pacifica PHEV doesn't fold down for the same reason - battery.

Ugh. I see toyota hasn't fixed the biggest problem with their minivan..non removable 2nd row seats. That is a non starter for many people who use their van for trips to the lumberyard, moving a kid to college, etc.
