His "lines" are interesting cause it's all made up= both he and Rampage put on fake content you never see them actually taking cash from the cashier (when they cash out) and their stories (hand histories) don't make any sense to any real poker player. Also you look at their "sessions" they always have pocket aces and pocket queens sometimes more than once- but for some reason they forget to ever have pocket kings... it's really comical how gullible they think you all are... I bet they play online for "play money" and post their hand histories as real cash game hands- that's the only way any of these hands would ever make sense.. Oh and how many times does Mariano posts quads.... seriously dude get a life

@@boazbell38 It's true. I've played with Mariano and he often goes 2 hours with playing a hand, then he'll put the camera in front of someone else's stack to make it look as if he played their hand. I also saw Mariano buy $2,000 worth of chips from the cashier, walk around the poker room with the racks in his hand and then cash them out again to make it look like he just won. It's all fake.

Love the few spots lately where you’ve thought twice on the river and found a creative (but when you think it through rationally, it makes perfect sense) river value bet. These are spots where I and most players will chicken out with the check back.

Hey Mariano, great drone b-roll as always. And I love the understated humor in the VO. Re: suited connectors in the BB when SB open-limps (or equivalent configuration)... there was just a Twitter thread about that from Ryan LaPlante. He's talking about tournaments, but he says you're supposed to raise the crap hands because they play so poorly postflop, but check suited connectors (and other adjacent I guess) because you don't want to get limp/reraised off those. I dunno if it applies to cash or not but it made sense to me anyway. Congrats on the big win and great content.

That Aces vs. Jacks hand was so interesting. When the straddler just calls your button open I would never put him on TT+ and after he calls flop and turn I would put a ton of 7x into his range especially given that people will defend a ton of off-suit connectors and gappers if they are partially invested and closing the action. So unless you think this guy is leading all of his 7x on the river I think a river overbet with AA is a bit crazy. Not to mention that since this was a button open from you your range will include some 2x and a fair amount of 7x and even 55 some of the time, so if you're betting those hands for value and all of your overpairs above 99 I have to say that you have way too many value hands you need to bet to be taking this sizing. How do you balance that range? Do you triple off with missed flush draws? Because, generally speaking, that's a no-no. I don't know man. I think it magically worked out this time because villain was at the tippy top of his non-nutted range but, in general, I actually think you value own yourself too often (unless your opponent is a total fish who you expect to just donk lead river with any boat).
