this such an issue i have bru, alot of games i get like 3k-6k dmg boosted with like 60 % blue beam and 40% heal beam but then other games i struggle to break 2k? Its so frustrating struggling with consistency and not feeling like ive made a great enough impact. I find myself only playing ana, kiriko and sometimes moira if this happens which isnt a problem since I can play like most of the support chars but still, is anyone else having this problem of being consistent and not bringing as much value as usual even though there are valuable dps to pocket? anyways great video as always zhau

sometimes i just think that its your teammates are putting themselves in worse positions so you catch yourself healing more actively in the fight to save someone than boost their damage. I also have games like this though its more like the 3k is my high and like 1k is my low.

Mercy is super teammate dependent. If they’re not doing damage without blue beam, they won’t be doing it with it either. If I ever have a match where I’m not hearing damage ticks when blue beaming right out of the gate, I’ll swap immediately. No point in playing Mercy if there isn’t damage to boost.

Blue beam damage amp is not in your control, it depends on teammates

It's cause of your teammates taking too much damage, so you're forced to heal more. They probably don't have 1) good positioning & 2) doesn't use natural cover / health packs around the map.

Rez won’t be broken enough to remove until oneshots are removed. Also it’s super easy to interrupt. If you’re letting her get rezzes off at key moments, that’s a skill issue on your part because she’s literally a sitting duck when doing it.

If you’re struggling with mercy getting her revives off, you literally have a massive skill issue. When mercy is ressing, she literally can’t move around and just sits there for 3 seconds. Mercy is honestly fine rn

Her Rez isn’t the problem really, it’s her damage boosts and pocketing being so strong on dps like soj that make her un fun at times
