Love your hauls. Not sure if it’s a thing in the US but in NZ it’s recommended to avoid tahini and hummus due to salmonella risk. Not telling you what to do, but thought I’d let you know in case you want to read up about it.

I just recently tried the Trader Joe’s Tteok Bok Ki and I was not a fan, I tried it with and without mozzarella cheese cause I see people add that. I didn’t like either. The rice cake is sweet and the sauce is savory and spicy so I just wasn’t a fan. I had such high high hopes for it cause I always see people make it too!

I dont think its actually feta cheese. Feta is only produced in Greece so check the label first. Personaly I have never seen crumbled feta .🤷🏻‍♀️ In general though buy products with certified labels if you want the actual taste of the country's cusine.

trader joes does have a feta option imported from greece. it comes in two blocks in brine. pre-crumbled feta is a "thing" in the US and its nowhere near as good as the real thing tbh.
