That took walking many miles before I found anything close to that. I did end up buying a mine lab Gold Monster to pick up the tiny pickers but yes I agree fancy tools don't make you a better prospector. Hardwork and dedication does 😁

I mainly spend most of my time in North Western AZ, What the video didnt show is going out walking miles everyday for a very long time before finding that. I had weeks of finding nothing already, golds a hobby, minerals are my thing. As im sure you know Gold does weird things to otherwise good people so I keep it as a fun only hobby lol I have friends at base camp who got the fever when they seen that nugget. Folks often think it comes easy but its anything but, then again thats the fun part of the adventure

I found gold and gemstones at Arizona. One gemstone is a light green color gem quality that i gifted to co worker. Another one is dark green and weighs 270 carats. I tested it with the diamond selector 2 and it is about a bar to two bars higher than the starting range on the tester. My KZbin video is called "raw emerald" and "raw emerald update".

Yep. The big round rock directly on top was his X to mark the spot, and before digging, the dirt was the dark dirt of freshly dug earth. Quite the actor though, a little over the top, but not bad. I'm sure this video was made to up the value of the nugget as a collector piece or as jewelry.

I ended up getting a mine lab goldmonster which is so much better than my old one. That nugget was around 4.5 ounces but it had friends, bigger friends.... It looks easy but what I didnt show is the 15+ miles I walked every week for 2 months after coming back from my mining claims before I hit the big boys

Can I just tell you how excited I am for you !!!!!! Holy smokes I was screaming out loud for you. I'm in utah and I just ordered a 6000 gpx . I've been told utah doesn't hold gold like what you have in your hand but no one ever prospects in utah compared to other places either so who knows. For my own enjoyment and curiosity you said that nugget had bigger friends I'm trying to learn how far away big nuggets like to hide from each other. Was there any type of a pattern you noticed or completely random distances away

Congratulation Brother !!!!! I found a small vein or something today near Rio Grande AZ and got (8) pickers ..... All together almost 15 grams..... and I dug deep too ..... My ass still hurts ..... Good luck brother .... The find of a lifetime ....... Nuggets give you weird sounds when deep..... Then get sharper sounding the closer you get......
