You should do some videos on the Movie battles 2 Multiplayer mod. Has the best lightsaber combat across any star wars game to date. No hit stunning nonsense, all classes are balanced and require skill to use. Hands down the best star wars mod I have and will ever play. HIGHLY recommend!

The most disappointing thing about EA's BF2 was that in the space battles you no longer had any real targets on the ships or could even land on them in order to destroy them from the inside.

I mean, the lack of being able to actually land inside the ships themselves during a *”nonlinear”* space battle is a bit disappointing, But pretty much EVERY Star Fighter Assault map revolves around destroying the exterior systems of a Republic Venator, a Separatist Lukrehulk Command Battleship, a Rebel MC-80 Star Cruiser, an Imperial Star Destroyer, or a First Order Star Destroyer. As for the interior systems, while we didn’t get to see them for the Rebels and Empire, we did technically get them for the Republic, Separatists, Resistance, and First Order, with the boarding phase of Capital Supremacy (And hey, who knows, with the work that the modders have done, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ll soon be able to mod in the Rebel and Imperial Hangars seen in the Campaign, then add those ships to the skies above OT era Capital Supremacy. And then take it one step further and use the damageable areas from the Star Fighter Assault maps and add Starfighters to every era, not just the OT maps, and allow the starfighter to fly around and damage the outsides as the Ground Battle rages on, maybe even modding them to be able to fly inside the 6 different Capital Ships to damage the inside reactors too.)

Yeah. And the lack of basically any singleplayer stuff. ESPECIALLY the lack of a Galactic Conquest mode. Especially with the recently leaked Battlefront 3 build that even had stuff like ground combat, where mid battle you can just jump into a ship, fly up to space, where two capital ships fight, land in one, destroy it from the inside and take an escape pod back to the surface to continue playing there while you see the spaceship explode from the surface. Compared to that EA's Battlefront is an absolute joke.

This is so awesome!! Its also so sad that with everything SW nowadays, the fans do more for the community in terms of good content than all these development companies like EA and Disney but its great to see that BF2 still alive with these mods and what the fans want and deserve. I'd love to see some Yuuzhan Vong enemy types or an entire new enemy faction of them of multiple enemy types from infantry, heavy, heroes/villains, ships, guns, maps, etc... That would be an insanely amazing EU mod expansion!!!!!

Especially like in BF3, which was announced at the time, there is a mode in which there are space battles and ground battles. Where you now e.g. Start from the ground and fly into space and continue fighting there.

Depends on the mod pack. BF+ is lore and canon accurate meaning you won't see Legends Heroes or heroes from other eras in the CW for instance. BF Expanded is more of a mix of all eras and legends

I wish Btec would give Pre Vizsla a rework. It’s kinda lame that all of his abilities revolve around just using The Darksaber. I’d love for him to have the same ability as Bode Akuna, where he can fire a blaster AND has a lightsaber, Plus maybe like a 3x Impact Grenade throw ability, like how Leia has 3x Thermal Detonators. And an ability where he puts the Darksaber away, gains Unlimited Jetpack fuel like Boba’s For The Hunt ability, but can dual wield his 2 blaster pistols like the ARC trooper’s fast firing mode, or like Jango Fett’s firing speed. Lastly, maybe a Jetpack Jump like the other Aerial units have, where Vizsla would drop 1 or multiple Impact Grenades directly beneath him right as he takes off (that way the ability can be used both offensively and defenseive, as either a way to interrupt a fight, or to escape a losing battle and damage the enemy on your way out)

BF+ has more blasters and trooper skins and just canon heroes. BF Expanded has 70+ new heroes and reinforcements from both canon and legends. And you cannot play them togheter but you can use BF+ blasters with BF Expanded

Do you have to unlock stuff on the PC mods? Like I played on console and want to play on PC with mods but grinding to unlock guns and abilities has put me off.

No everything is unlocked. Perhaps some starcards wont be but you will unlock these in no time

The funny thing is that these creators added so much content that EA could use their ideas to green light Battlefront III. Or, at the very least, even continue support for Battlefront II. Free ideas for them right there. I wish they made Kyber available for consoles as well. I would be playing this for the rest of 2025. Lol.
