Since F1 has grown in America, Ford and GM both are looking at the sales value of F1. This is further strengthened by the nose dive NASCAR is taking.

Red bull and Ford have a huge task at hand! It will be very interesting if they can be competitive from the get go

FORD would not be in the talking if it didnt already have something cooking, i think they have proved this time and time again,

Ford making Red Bulls new ICE's is news to me... I thought their agreement was for Ford to deliver the MGU-H, MGU-K and battery store components.

Ford won’t be designing the engine or building it.Red Bull power trains are doing that with some back room help from Honda. Ford want the technology that those two have that’s all it is.

I thinking RB will have another year or 2 of successes, but then they are doomed to be mid-packers at best with the '26 cars

Yep .. can’t see Ford winning any trophies sadly. Enjoy it while you can RB, and look out for Aston Martin in 26.

@@Pedro285the last time someone said they can’t see Ford being competitive was Enzo Ferrari ………. never count Ford out, the financial means is unlimited, so I’d temper your judgement

Not a ford engine

Ford should probably focus attention and resources on electrification. Even if they don't go full EV now, it's hard to imagine all these Legacy car companies are going to survive the EV revolution in the long term. Same should be said for F1. I love watching it but one would have to assume Formula E is the future of this sport.

Have you driven an EV? I've crossed the US in a Plaid, I'll take a gas car every time.

i can just smell those battery fires cooking mmmm fried ev's yummy

@@TommaHawk79 Easily persuaded by main stream media click bait it seems. The latest study on the topic....EV battery fires .0012%, versus Internal Combustion of .01%. Doing the math, for every million cars on the road, IC will experience 10,000 battery fires, whereas EV's will experience 1,200. Their clickbate is working on you :)

@@kinsellakp I've owned 2. Much better as an everyday driver without question! Takes a little more resource management on a long trip, but pretty simple for something I do a few times a year.

@@michaelmiller6878so I can only speak as a construction engineer with experience in structural fire design ;) but I’d take ten petrol fires over one lithium ion battery fire any day (much higher rate of combustion, much higher total energy available for combustion). You also have to keep in mind that most EV’s are new, which will be affecting those statistics.
