Really enjoyed this video. Cannot believe how much meat you bought for less than $300. Chest freezer is a great investment. Would like to see more shopping videos. 💙💙

Yeah wow!! That’s a lot of meat 👀👀 with all this inflation it’s nice to see you can still find great deals like that 👍🏼
@carolyndetemple2 ай бұрын
I’m amazed at how different prices are from store to store. I actually will write lists out for each store and compare them side by side and only buy it where it’s cheapest per oz or lb. I saved $75 one week doing it this way ☺️ But it’s a time consuming exercise lol.

I love your videos, and am subscribed. I was a single mom of one, and also a medical transcriptionist in the past. I went on to the trades (cabinetry refinishing). A booming business, which covid took away in 2021. I've struggled since then. I lost my dad to cancer recently, and because I don't handle my situation with a smile all the time, and my conversations with my daughter bring on tears, my daughter doesn't want me in her life anymore. You and I have different life circumstances, but similar feelings on life. Life can be painful, and it turns on a dime. I also Doordash, and even in these shit times, I look forward to your videos, I laugh, and I so relate to you. I remember the high I would get from a good grocery haul. My daughter and I would excitedly put it all away. I'm alone now, and I miss those days ❤

I have saved so much on groceries by being an Instacart shopper. Since I’m in the stores all the time shopping for groceries, I see all the sales on my regular items. I find the good BOGO items without having to spend time looking for sales online. I get paid to find the deals!

It was nice to see a different type of video from you!! You did really well with the cost of all the meat you got!! In my neck of the woods, it would have cost around $400-$500 for that same haul!! Great job getting those bargains!!

And I really do feel for you having those plumbing issues I know you're exhausted you gotta feed the family put away everything that you just bought so many more things and chores you have to do. As a female mom and grandma truly I understand what you're going through. Keep smiling and just be you you can see that you are such a kind person inside and out. Take care

Wow!😲That was awesome! Great selection of meats at very budget conscious prices!👍 I know that was a lot of work, but how satisfying to see the freezer full and know you are stocked up for a while!👐 It was wonderful to see a different type of video of course. But anything you present us with is fun to watch! Dashing, budgeting videos, grocery hauls, a trip to the beach with the kiddos. They are all great because you are in them! We enjoy YOU!😁 I hope all of the issues at home with the plumbing etc... are beginning to work themselves out. I was sure hoping that once Aiden got home things would just "run smoothly" for you and you could just enjoy being home as a family! Praying those "smooth days" are coming your way soon!🙏💖

Enjoy your videos. We get hurricanes like you do in Florida. What I've done in past is I save gallon milk jugs & if a storm is coming I freeze water in them & put on top & around of everything in freezer, pack it as tight & close as you can...can do for chest freezer & fridge freezer, then when storm is it's closest to land fall turn freezer to coldest setting before losing power & when power goes out DO NOT OPEN FREEZER. I also take fridge items off the doors, group them together on a shelf in fridge & put frozen jugs around them. When Gustav came through we lost power for 4 days & my food in freezers was still frozen, lost a few fridge items but they can be replaced.

That is a good mark down on Sam's ground beef. I usually get mine at walmart in the 10 lb chub for $3 lb. I bet those whole chickens were a good price. I need to learn how to cut up a chicken. You'd think I'd know how to do that since my dad was a meat cutter at Safeway for 25 years. lol I do scan-n-go at Sam's. It's so much quicker. I do scan-n-go at at walmart also. That's a very good haul MM. See you next week for your 13k sub celebration!

This was fun! I always love seeing grocery prices across the country. I'm in So. CA., and have mostly similar prices. I shop the sales, and multiple stores too for the best prices. We were just in Myrtle Beacha and found Publix expensive. We usually shop at Wegmans in Buffalo NY and really noticed the difference but could be a tourist trap lol! I am from Canada and that would have been a ridiculous amount of money but well over $500.

I use to volunteer cook at a homeless shelter and I was given a monthly card to go to the local food bank. It was like $25 a month and I could go twice a week to the food bank. I was given a luggage cart to fill up with food .and meat was a extra fee. I bought 100 chicken thighs for $30 and the produce and bread was free. Here in California there is not much attention paid to business that are in need of the food bank and most are halfway houses that the clients get food stamps..but this monthly card is for churches and low income people. They also have a plan if you donate 4 hours a week you are entitled to the same about of food one time a week and the same cost for chicken

Next time you are at Sam's if they have sliced pork belly get a pkg. Use it as your meat for stews and soups. It is also good just pan grilled until it is crispy, use lettuce wraps and veggies with the pork rolled and dipped in any sauce you like (easy Korean BBQ at home. ). You can thank me later!😂

I'm really worried right now. Mama, what time did you start shopping at the first grocery store, and what time did you place everything in your freezer at home? This is important. Meat cannot be left out in the heat. Please please please be careful. I worry for you and your family's health, even though I probably have no need to, lol! But meat sitting in your car for 2+ hours will be bad nears bears, Mama. 😥 Or am I just being stupid? If so, please educate me.
