Sailing feels more a progressive skill than just higher level items like Herblore or Construction. Expands, that's an interesting take to expanding on your other skillsets with each level bracket low or high youre at. Hope it swims smooth, new skills and team gets confident releasing skills like ol early 00's scape.

I normally stay away from buying from a clip inside a preview, but I went and bought inquisitor. If it's not a thing in the colluseum, they mentioned they want to bring more crush weakness in-game, and when they rebalance NPC's melee defence they will certainly work crush in (that's probably what's causing melee defence rework).

All of these other than scurius, varlamore p1 and eventual release of sailing are all currently being polled and have not been made official yet and won't be official until the poll closes on January 26th. While Guthix Sleeps, Defender of Varrock, the wilderness changes to elder chaos druids and rework of various wildy content, the herblore activity in varlamore p2 AND the varlamore group boss are all UNCONFIRMED. IF you like these ideas, you NEED to vote now before January 26th, 2024, or they might not make it into the game!

I'll be honest, I want absolutely nothing to do with any HD features Jagex releases for OSRS. If I want HD, I'll either use 117's plugin or play RS3. I'm just glad we'll be able to switch between HD and SD at will.

Seems like the colosseum gamemode is kinda like the part in Fable where you fight in a colosseum. You can quit at any point or push on for round after round, fight a final boss for a grand prize.

The HD renderer will also be way more optimized since it's moving away from the old web based graphics, so we'll get significantly better framerates, even on mobile. I imagine it would be very similar to HDOS which has amazing performance.

I've been hoping for WGS and TD's to be reimplemented for quite awhile, a friend and myself completed it pretty much on release and farmed TD's for claws a long time afterwards making a ton of GP. I'm hoping they move claws back to the TD drop table, have always thought it was just weird being dropped at Chambers especially considering the big loot table it has. I've got a lot of good memories throughout playin RS over the years but that was probably one of my favorites along with Nex and a few other updates. I also really liked curses back in the day but not really a fan of the prayers that were pitched as they stand now anyway.

Imo it’s a good direction. But what I don’t like is just more and more bosses added. Imo there should be a net loss. Like bosses 1-2-3. One drops stuff good to kill 2 then 2 for 3 where you make your money back. Or with sailing make it where sailing gets you to great areas to level skills from 1-20 / 20-30 / 30/40 and so on. Aka add content but make it all intertwine so new and old players can play together more.

I feel like most of these are pretty interesting/exciting to look forward too. However i will say and i might be the only one, but i really cba with a new skill, and even more so Sailing. I honestly think Dungeoneering/Summoning are 100x more interesting then Sailing. But oh well. Besides Sailing i think most of the things on here are very interesting. I think Varlamore has alot of potential, new quests are always fun to look forward too aswell. All in all its very good and looks promising to look forward and experience these new things in the future

They should make HD available for runelite. There is no point playing the game without the runelite plugins. 99.9% of activities in the game are unimaginable to be done without the plugins once you had a taste of runelite. For herblore training they should add a botanists academy. Add a greenhouse that has untradable herbs. You are given instructions that tell you which to gather to create different concoctions. When picking you get small farming xp and when these complex recipes are followed correctly you get xp. But make it somewhat complex to mix. Like add burners to heat them to certain temps then add weights of each ingredient. It would be similar to rs3 ceremonial swords or something. You could even get points to use on more xp or choose to unlock various new skulling related potions. There you go OSRS devs make it happen. I think it would be cool to see players all working in a lab in some school type area.
