My controversial take on the patch: game developers should never base anything off what the pro players want. Halo has a weird fan base where random mfs that will never ever ever be HCS honor GAs unquestioningly so we're in this space where half the existing sandbox got GAed out but we want new guns, we want old guns but also pls listen to the pro players when they whine and find reasons 1) Mangler 2) sword 3) pulse carbine 4) sentinel beam 5) anything new they add that's too fun shouldn't be there 🫡 (Prediction: there hasn't been a GA in a long time actually I am going to scream laugh when they GA the BR bc it's too good against post patch bandit)
