This was a grand opportunity for all those panelist and look how they act, but he still stayed and did the interview. Everyone forgets that president and famous people are human beings, and just like us average people we do not like to be disrespected or pushed around and the people at the top don’t like to be like that either they won’t respect just like everybody else. Everyone tends to forget that but I don’t. @@loavy4007 Sorry, I forget that you have to use very explicit wording when talking to some people. Did he _respond_ to her question? Yes. Did he actually answer the question? Nope. She asked about how he is on the record making indisputably false claims about his political opponents (let’s be grownups and deal in facts), and he did not address that point in any way. He could have, but he didn’t. Imagine being so partisan that you can’t admit the obvious.

@@jacobstammto be honest I didn’t like how he responded to some of these questions and this is coming from someone who supports him. However when as an interviewer you come at your interviewee with a very harsh tone in the first 20 seconds to an interview you were late for, it doesn’t really allow for proper discussion about policy and just turns into a very messy situation on both sides. I watch interviews coming from both sides often and I rarely see this sort of tone for Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. We’ve heard a lot about Trumps stance on policy but we still haven’t heard Kamala’s stance whatsoever, regardless of which side you prefer I would want equal treatment on both sides. I do agree that instead Trump should’ve responded accordingly and calmly to these questions without trying to just stroke his own ego about past policy and how Biden did a bad job.

I’m black, we don’t look at these “journalists” as representatives for us. They failed to even do their job correctly. They were unable to be objective and clearly had an agenda coming in, which discredits them as honest “journalist”. They didn’t even have dialogue, they just machine gunned the questions and expected him to hit a wall at some point. They had a specific mission and had the interview in bad faith and failed that mission. I’m not sure what the statistics are looking like at this point, but based off what I’ve seen in the media and the conversations I’ve had with other black people, many of us are behind Trump. The ones who aren’t are the ones pushing a democratic agenda and don’t really support the black community. We like Trump’s authenticity, which is wholly missing in the political space and we are aware that the democrats only leverage identity politics and terroristic terminology to play on the heart strings of black folk, which has worked for a long time, but we aren’t going for it anymore. At least those of us that can look at statistics and facts and acknowledge them as such.
