Are you planning a new tank, or is this their final home ? In my opinion, these cichlas need a tank with at least 5000l/1400g .

I agree with you. Three months ago I made some changes in my fishroom- I removed a very big window from a wall opposite the wall with the curently tanks. So now I have a place for bulid a 600(700)x120x120 tank in stainless steel frame- maby in next year (?) I dont know- this is only plan for the future. On the second hand maby I will sell those fishes in next year because Im a guy who changing tank mates very often- take a look on my all movies- you will see a many different species of the fishes. For my the most important thing is to bulid that 600(700)x120x120cm tank- Its my dream. I was prepared for this for several years:) and it will be done (but when?!?!:)

That sounds awesome, i will subscribe to your channel, to see what happens next. I allready checkt your other videos, very nice stuff. I kept a Giant Gourami myself some years ago, he was an adorable guy, sadly he got stucked in driftwood and passed away, he was about 35cm/14". I loved how he just ate any vegetables i throw in the tank.

I bought them 20.12.2013 (~2,5years ago) when they were 12-15cm long. At beginnig I fed them every day and they grow 5-6cm per month. When they became bigger I started to feed them only three times a week (monday-wednesday-friday) so now they are growing more slowly. I supposed that if I fed them all time every day now they would be close to 100cm. The most important thing for cichlas is to feed them well when they are young. Pay attention that my tems have a small eyes. If cichla is fed poorly it grows more slowly and it eyes are oversize. Sorry for my bad english:)
