I love the Figaro chain. I just got an 8mm silver Figaro today.

I don't know if you wear a lot of silver, but I'm just letting you know, since a lot of people do not, if your chain tarnishes (turns black) you can easily remove it. It doesn't mean it's fake, I am stunned by so many people who don't know this. You can remove it with Wrights silver cream (get the round one, since it comes with an eraser pad with really helps remove tarnish) or put it in Tarn-X for a few seconds. It literally makes it look practically brand new every single time. If you don't want to use chemicals, look up baking soda and silver tarnish trick on youtube. I don't feel it works as well as chemicals, but it does do pretty damn good, too.

@@vision821k4 I appreciate that. I have some silver cleaning wipes that work really well. I’ve also noticed that silver chains that have a rhodium coating barely tarnish at all. It’s really nice.

@@theinfidelH8 Yeah, I wouldn't suggest using the chemicals if you have rhodium, since it actually can take the rhodium off. When I didn't know anything, my chain was brand new, but I'm like obsessive at cleaning them, even when I didn't need to and then realized the chemicals took the rhodium off. Since then, with Rhodium, even mild dish soap, wipe, and definitely make sure to dry it. Rhodium really does last a long ass time. What kind of silver wipes do you use? I'll give them a try if I see them in the store.

Why do .925 rope chains tarnish faster then fígaro chains I noticed that .925 figaro chains don’t tarnish at all

I have always noticed that too. As an owner of a 14mm 30in figaro for more than 20 years I would have to say that the figaro lays flat on your chest and because of this it constantly rubs on your clothing and stays cleaner longer. This is my best guess because between the links it still greys My 9mm 28in rope gets dirty and greys no matter what. This is because it just rolls instead of slides and rubs against your shirt as u wear it.
