Marshals have a procedure to follow. Get your facts right or shut up. The marshals that were at that post, were not fire prepared. The ones trained to handle it, had to come from turn 4.

Those marshals were slow as hell with those extinguishers. I'm a volunteer myself, and I'd at least approach the cars with an extinguisher on standby.

Because they are flag marshals, not fire marshals. Fire marshals had to come from turn 4. There is no way you would attempt to, nor would you be allowed to put a fire out with the shirts they were wearing. They'd have been badly burned. The drivers had fire suits on.
