this might sound a bit stupid- but if your grandmother's blush ever expires you could clean out the product and turn it into a jewelry dish, that way could keep it for years, while keeping the feeling of beauty you keep with it

The part about your grandma's blush made me choke up. My auntie died two years ago. She was an amazing knitter, and every year for my birthday she would give me a pair of home knitted socks. I always wear them to death and I only have two pairs left, and I wear them every time I miss her.

You could try learning to darn! (Or pay a tailor or someone to darn them for you) I learned to darn to save a pair of socks from my late grandmother, and Ive actually found that it’s pretty easy and soo worth it to prolong the life of something with such strong sentimental value 🥰

@@princessmysterion_ personally i feel that it's harder for them to build up seamlessly and blend nicely. I love my powder blushes but i do need a little bit a concealer (even if it's really sheer) as a base for them to work nicely. If i put them on my bare skin they either look patchy or almost too pigmented? I dont know if that makes sense but creams and liquid blush just work alot nicer on bare skin for me at least

Ok so I finally got a cloud paint (dusk) and I find that I’m not actually a huge fan of this product. I just don’t reach for it. I’m going to continue using it to see if my opinion changes. But I’m definitely interested in the honest beauty and physicians formula blushes. And I totally get keeping your grandmother’s blush. I have a pillow made out of my grandfather’s sweater that he always wore. It’s nice to have something of the person you love with you.

Hi I know this comment is kind of old, but have you tried putting cloud paint on with a brush? I used my fingers the first few times because that's what I saw on the adverts, and it was ok but could be kind of blotchy. So I tried it with a brush after I saw someone do that on KZbin and it went on much better!! I just dab a few spots on with my finger tip and then blend it out lots with a brush, works really well for me! Just an idea :)

There’s a UK brand that does Cloud Paint dupes in a few more colours - MUA academy. They’re also really inexpensive. The shade if you’re looking for coral/peach is Tiger Lily. It looks orange on the packaging but comes out cute and peachy~ and if you don’t like it it’s okay because they’re so cheap anyway~

I prefer the nudies bloom over the nudestix matte and the milk glow oil over the milk matte blush. It goes to show how much makeup is all personal preference and works different for different people. I just wish both of them came in more nude shades.

I actually really like the nudies bloom formula! It's similar to the stila in that it's really pretty but I like that the nudies matte has a more unique texture! I wish milk would come out with more shades of their blush as well- I think werk is just a little too neutral for my tastes at the moment. I might look into perk?

i feel you on the blushes... my ENTIRE makeup collection is 90% cream blush... and I have a lot in general, but always on the hunt for the next cream blush.. and even though I have a lot, I use them, easy to put on with and without foundation and they just make me happy and feel put together. My favorite thing is to also apply them lightly across the bridge of the nose and slightly above my brows - very sheered out, but gives a great sunkissed /flushed look if your into that

Late to the party because I just discovered your channel, but I just have to weigh in about your grandmother’s blush! What a beautiful story- it made me tear up! My grandmother passed away in December and for her whole life (at least MY whole life), she wore Revlon’s Softshell Pink lipstick, a warm-toned pearly pink. I kept her last tube of it, and when I did a reading at her funeral, I wore it. I will treasure that tube my whole life.

The colourpop MMM!!!!! The staying power is god-level. There was a literal storm that hit us today and I was soaking wet. I thought for sure the rain washed my makeup away. To my huge surprise the blush had very little wear even though my face was battered by rain! It’s SUCH a good product for clear skin days to wear by itself! I blend it on with some moisturizer and it looks flawless

I recommend the innisfree smart drawing blusher in peach coral, the formula is a little more on the liquidy side, but it looks amazing on bare skin to give a healthy glow type of look

L'Oreal Infallible Longwear Blush Shaping Stick in Cheeky Dimension ($9.99 on Amazon) and Honest Beauty Creme Cheek Blush in Peony Pink ($8.99 on Amazon) are my top two favorites for textured or maturing skin. I decluttered my Nudestix Nudies Matte in Sunset Strip because it just wasn't as flattering and blendable on me. As a dry skin gal, I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. I shed a tear when you decided to let go of the Stila. The lillium shade has been my holy grail. But you convinced me to try the Honest Beauty. (Dang, that stuff is impossible to find in stores.) Rose Pink arrived in the mail and I love it. Such a good buy. Def different than Stila. More matte, a bit warmer color, applies beautifully for a healthy natural glow. Move over Stila 😏

I much prefer liquid blushes because i cant quite get over the packaging of cream blushes! Things gettings stuck in them like dust and constantly touching them with your fingers and such, bottled blushes like the Daniel Sandler feel more hygienic and less messy to me!

i have two of the blushes and i found it difficult to use for the first several times (a lot of air, if anything). the trick is to shake the container vigorously for like 10ish seconds then press the button on top for the dropper to get the product. eventually the dropper starts to work normally after a couple of times but initially, i was sad because i thought i wasted $50. i currently use it everyday but its just those first few uses where you use the ends to scrape it on the sides LOL

Love this! Amanda. You have to try the salt New York blushes or creme sheers. They are amazing!!! I have 4 shades and love every one of them. Even the darker shades like raspberry I was worried would be too dark but they are so nicely sheer. Long lasting and don’t move my foundation I apply with a sponge but can use fingers also.

Amanda Z it’s very skin like. Not matte I would say between satin and slightly dewy maybe. It’s like having greatly hydrated skin. I love the bronzer too. She has many skin tone options

I always thought that Nudestix was a drugstore brand! We don‘t have it here where I live and I‘ve seen it many times on different channels. I guess I just assumed that it was a bit cheaper because the packaging doesn‘t look fancy and the idea of stick products seemed very quick and easy to me.

Im a hardcore fan of the daniel sandlers blushes. I have never interfered with any of my bases. In regards to shelf life, I order mine straight from his website as you can buy tester sizes and as you need only one drop for both cheeks ( well for me anyway) means that once they do go off it is easy to replace. I find putting the drop on my hand blending it out and when it is almost dried I use a RT setting brush and very lightly bounce the brush on my cheek.

Yay! Another cream blush queen! I was glad to see this pared down review of so many cream products I want to try. I tried buying the Physician’s Formula but it was grainy! I returned it right away. Have you tried the Tom Ford duos? I know it’s crazy expensive but by ounce, it’s actually cheaper than the Nudestix. I love the Illume Trio from Hourglass, too. Have you tried Ilia?

hi , i have only four cream blush and one YSL two charlotte Tilbury all are gorgeous, but it depends on the season as to what i enjoy wearing but most of my collection are powder.

Ohhh... I don't think so but I will say that when you apply something super liquidy and dewy like the flower beauty or the em comsetics onto bare skin it is heavenly!!!

Yay, finally someone that doesn’t love the DS watercolour blushes! I bought one and hated it, it had silver glitter in it - so cheaplooking for an expensive product - and I agree that it didn’t sit well with my foundation, it was so silicone-y it just moved it or sat on top 😖

yes it definitely has a siliconey finish...I think my preferences lean more towards the serum blushes from em! I love their translucence

Amanda! You should really try out tower 28 cream blush in golden hour. It’s my favourite and pulls pretty orange :-)
