After an incident off of the diving board in a pool, I could never again make myself go inverted (on purpose)...But horizontal rotations were another story. Never skied this mtn, but plenty in Summit Cty, Co...and got to the point where in order to even get an adrenaline rush, I'd find myself doing helicopters off of cat-walks onto black diamonds that I'd never seen before. Super stupid, but what a rush trying to locate your landing on your way around in a circle. Did the same off of some rocks, where as long as there were tracks leading off of it, I'd feel bold enough to do daffys or iron-cross while trying to find the landing for the 1st time. Also now in 50's, so that's behind me, but now the daughters have taken up the sport. It's fun seeing them get better, and try to pass along the experience. This chute doesn't look like something I'd sail into blindly, but with the same looks this guy took, would have no problem cranking a daffy off of it. No way in hell I'd do a copter off of this, though. zero. I'll tip my hat to that stunt. And a flip...yikes - salute.

Back in the late 70s when I competed freestyle, I dropped into Corbet;s many times. We used to love to just ski by the scaredy-cats at the top of a drop like Corbet's and drop in one after the other. The only thing we cared about was whether we would land on someone. If it was clear we went for it.
