Dude, you're right! I tested out rank 3 scorn on dummy, and it outperforms my 2/5 rank 4 maw of the deep! My dps went up by 300k per sec with only this gem! Thank you for this wisdom, greetings from Itherael!

Recently, I took off my 3 star rank 4 Zwensons/Phoenix and replaced them with a r10 Pebble and a r7 Scorn. I think I am liking it much more.

Kronos here. Idk. Lament is still a great gem even after your points in the other video. Plus Igneous + Lament is an okay combo, as it raises crit and helps proc Igneous soon as you deal damage. I always knew igneous was good though, and it’s why I recommend it heavily for players that can’t get Fervent Fang or plays every class including necro so Fervent Fang/PnC isn’t as effective on Necro. Igneous is probably in the top 5s of 2 stars. Pain Clasp, Reach for Necro, Fang for other classes, Viper, Lament, Igneous.

As sader I gave my attention for this gem and rn on 10 lvl I can deal about 260k dmg (2,5k reso) a top of that it triggers bottled hope and vithus set. Also I decided to switch Morhers Lament and already started collecting Grims Rhythm gems for bp instead of Telluric pearls. Grim Rhythm even on 1 rank + vithu 4 piece doing great job. Affecting all type of dmg (skills, dots, primary and summons)

Been using Ingenous with the 4 piece Agments conflagrations with my Alt character for a while now it’s great seeing those burning symbols above the heads of the enemies 🔥🔥🔥but hearing lament isn’t as effective as its seems lll be burning that from my main character even though its rank 10.

Agment is still pretty useful set. Especialy for some dot based builds, and yeah, mother's lament isn't as effective as it used to be. Maybe it's me but I see scorn operates much better in any situation.

Great video. I too have overlooked igneous… I would like to incorporate igneous / blessed pebble into my gem setup for my summons necro… however, I have no idea what I should replace for it. My current setup R10 Berserker (Awakened), R8 Fervent, R5 Mothers, R5 Pain Clasp, R5 Viper, R5 Bloody Reach, R3 3* Bottled Hope, R2 2* BSJ

Fervent doesn't work for summons. It's still quite solid gem for other classes so keep it in your stash but ignous will be much better here.

@DudumanBogdanVlad well mechanically it depends on build. But notice that DH has summons too. Both gems are great but if you use untargetable summon for pvp then scorn. For all other things I would pick FF over scorn.

This gem is badass! Put it on FSWW Barbarian and then correct essences and you've got untempered hate firestorm with explosions run a couple pieces of urges and maybe you could even add a couple pc mounte banks and even more explosions Also if you have a crusader that is built based on fire damage and need a little more movement speed this is a good gems as well

You inspired be not to rank MT higher than rank 5. I am also thinking of keeping Viper Bite at rank 5 only for OW despite my plans to rank it to to rank 10. But instead use this slot to rank Igneous Scorn to rank 10. thank you for inspiration!

Hey bro, I am thinking of swapping of either my fervent fang r10 or power and command r10 for scorn. Do you think this is advisable?

It is for PnC. Fang is a damage buff for all damage while PnC is 50/50, Igneous buff is for all damage so it > PnC in that regards. Scorn over PnC for sure

Exactly. PnC can't be fully utilised with any class. Scorn is way better.

As a crusader god knows I have crits for this gem and wanted to have this gem. So I did a simple test on dummy. In my usual farm build I switched gems between lament, fervent and scorn. Lament was better than fervent 5-10% as I remember and scorn gave me 10% les dmg than fervent. So I was disappointed. From description this gem needs crits and as a crusader I was happy that we will get this gem and now Im lil bit disappointed. Maybe some builds can use it better I don't know.

Hello. It depends if you have awakened items. If not then upgrade them evenly. Otherwise you will stuck with one gem at rank 9 for quite long time.

I also am curious I run dot build as BK with ravage bleed, I use 2 pc baron 2 pc banquet 4 pc grace and it works well in pve I havnt really tested in pvp

I believe ML and Scorn both are great for pve but their purpose is different. ML provides you with significant boost for the first 10 sec of any fight. To be more precise I think it's 6-8 sec. But scorn works very frequently and helps a lot in overworld farm, much more than ML. So basically you will be less effective on the begining but it compensate in longer fights.

Power and command is a bit overrated gem in my humble opinion. We can't utilise its bonus. I would definitely go for scorn with any class.

It depends for what class. For summoner fervent fang doesn't work but overall it's quite solid gem. I would look for different alternative.

Sometimes, you can't change people's minds. My opinion here isn't as important either. But what I'm always trying to do is show different solutions / arguments, whatever you call it. So eventually, everyone is able to make conscious decisions about gem setup. But if somebody ask me about best configuration based on 2 s gems, then definitely scorn would be included.

@vk.videos nice I have 5 awakened slots im currently using PnC rank 10 torment rank 10 and carsen and I interchange them along with rank 7 viper and rank 7 clasp I swapped my igneous for a lament now that I'm playing BK and also it adds a dot and helps with my build since I use the pants that increase bat damage per a negative effect and I'm using starfire rank 4 rn for the 2 second burn and ravage with bleed whirling strike with bleed I just posted a video if u care to critique it I'd b honored, I use 2 pc baron cuz I was using skewer with chip but dropped it for the chest to leech off whirling strike mark, and hope to get the mephtic cloud helm new one and new offhand for ravage so I don't need 4 pc vithu or grim/carsen I also use 2 pc banquet to match my clasp and rn I have 4 pc Monte but plan to change it to 4 pc grace to increase dot gems and bat/mephitic cloud damage even whirling strike and ravage benefit from the 2 pc alone since they both do bleed damage, if u ever have time and wanna try a odd spec that I love using I swap the whirling strike to frost essence with 4 pc baron 4 pc Monte (I nvr use vithu) horned hex helm with the bats that just stay right on u I forgot name of essence but they basically just sit on u when they are active along with bar dam chest and make bats do dot dam on pants skewer essence for leap along with offhand for 19% whirling strike ofc frost essence and now with new offhand essence I'd say that for ravage but if u wanna use shadows edge which I always have with this build but only cuz nothing better for ravage and gems I use for the build are viper lament clasp let's say igneous to match 2 pc baron and pop dots over n over hopefully, starfire to pair with igneous great combo with ang or baron, BSJ and Hope seeping and if u wanna opt one of those out (I often do) I take out hope only bcuz I don't use vithu or any beneficial effect duration besides on gear, I don't even reforge it I focus on pure burst damage and I also have a build for flat damage without dots cuz im newish and my potency is high somewhat but when I use tank gems I don't use dots I pop gloomcask and howlers in over seeping and viper and use frozen orb spiteful blood over clasp and lament and sometimes if I have mostly vitality on gears il swap red gems to all HP and throw on worthy with 6 pc Monte 2 pc baron just so skewer stun last longer pref with a chip, (chip above rank 3 and skewer were made for eachother, best opener on all classes in the game) Playing sader with 6 pc Monte is so fun can even throw a sling and chip on use shield glare condem blind offhand and CoL blind shoulders to just tank by means of cc and become unkillable (iv had demon hunters stand in front of me unable to damage me) with the pants that dash and drop a impassable circle and punish shield offhand so it damages on block (I have high block af, and use 2 tank gems in pvp most of time with also reforge for barrier and Monte almost always so many many shields and lots of armor) it's crazy OP basically enables the control of a BG map and u can block off the whole team I often keep attackers behind mid doorway and as attacker I often finish a match in under 4 mind just constantly dashing on top of the idol all the way to heart without any trouble I hope u don't mind all this chatter I could alredy see the comments after this lmao but just tryna bounce some ideals at ya so Ik if all this time iv held these (meme specs) to such a high regard if I was correct in my assessment of its viability.
