I'm even more excited for these improvements than for the update itself lol. I can't wait! While this will improve decorating for everyone, it really will improve decorating on console. It will save so much time! I also can't wait to see the other improvements they hinted at! These types of improvements will greatly improve the quality of gaming for the entire community. This is equally big for console and PC. That said, this is a game changer for "controller" players across all platforms. (There are a lot of PC players who can't play M&K) As for me, I play on my Steam Deck quite a lot. I don't always want to sit at my PC, especially after hours of editing and streaming. This is going to make decorating on my Steam Deck so much better even though it's technically a "PC" platform. Either way, I'm just glad the devs are finally polishing up the decor/edit menu. It's gone untouched for way too long, and it's a core/fundamental part of the game. Especially with dreamsnaps!

If DLV would now anounce a new catagory for our favorites in addition to the new filters or search bar, I'll start crying for joy! Senpai: What would you think of a customizable category? I don't have all the item names on my mind and use 90% of the same 20-30 items for decorating or outfits anyway :D

Do you mean "Touch of Magic?" It's cool. I play around with it sometimes, and I've made some fun designs, but I mostly prefer standard decor.

@@Probably_Senpai No, No. I mean the regular furnitures Mode where you choose Like All, House, Decor, etc. When we would get a new catagory there, where we could put our own favorite items in, I'll would be so happy! Coz I have some furnitures, that I use most of the time. Like the Tangled Lantern, Rock Rug... Some items don't have reasonable tags or can be find in the allready given categories.

I love how we can make our own custom doors but it's a pointless feature in terms of not being able to switch them out for our functioning doors. Really thought they would have added some kind of door store when Monster's Inc came out because um, hello DOORS? We seriously do not get enough door options in this game as is, the most doors we have, have very limited uses. I love how we have some basic furniture to fill in the gaps but we don't get basic reskins of some basic looking doors that will fit better in certain dreamsnap challenges?

The Touch of Magic doors weren't supposed to operate like that. They're broken, and I feel confident the developers will fix them in this update. Patch notes are to be released soon, so hopefully, we'll find out in a day or two. I wasn't really expecting a "door store" or anything, but more door options are definitely something we need!

@paganraimi Okay, but the initial comment still doesn't make sense? You're acting as if the Mulan update was *only* supposed to contain bug fixes and nothing else... no new features... no new QOL improvements... no other improvements. Not all of us are dealing with crashes. Many players are excited to see some new content in the update. Additionally, if you read the patch notes, they go into detail about several bug and stability fixes. It was a big focus for this update... but of course, they're going to add more features to the game as well. This happens every update, and with many updates, the game actually has become more stable. The Daisy update was a different story. At the end of the day, I know for a fact we'll always have bugs in some form. Most games do. Concerning crashes, DLV is available on a WIDE spectrum of platforms... so it's all but inevitable that some platforms will struggle with stability. If you're so pessimistic and certain that every new feature is going to decrease stability, why are you playing this game? 🤔

@Probably_Senpai oh no I love the new content they've shown I'm just tempering my expectations that this WILL cause more crashes cause those are very easy to glitch especially on the switch. The improvements will be major game changers but the older systems will have new crashes and glitches. Until they once again work out the kinks I still feel like this game is still in beta. I love it but I just consider it one of the quirks
