I like the new curse mechanic - it's another way of adding a risk/reward system to the game. You can get powerful weapons and items, but each one you pick up makes stronger enemies more likely to appear. Only trouble that I can see while playing multi-player is that it almost feels like if one player takes curse, the others should do so as well, just to keep up with the cursed enemies...

After 5 minutes of testing I can confirm the shrimps have flat damage reduction of 25%. 4 dmg Amy does 3 damage against them and the 3 dmg smg does two (rounding down)

The anglerfish look like the elite version of the dashing viperfish (the ones with the long pointy teeth and back spines). Also yay goblin sharks! I'm a nerd for deep sea creatures

Harpoon Gun feels like it would be in the same category as Wand or Torch where you don't want more than 1 or 2. But they can be useful for yanking enemies into range of your short reach but hard hitting melee weapons makes them very useful.

Ah, taking notes from the Dark Souls games where the dlc is exceptionally more difficult. Also, makes sense logically that *most* of the dlc enemies have a form of dash if they're "fish-like" in nature, they would be naturally quicker. At any rate, awesome first look. Blobfish really put a lot of effort into this.

im not sure if u would be interested but theres a gacha game called Zenless Zone Zero with an arcade mode thats played similarly to brotato. the game is free to play but it takes a bit of playing to get to the minigame. its called Bizarre Brigade its really well made even though it isnt the main attraction of the game, it could be fun to try since uve played through brotato thoroughly

it gets automatically absorbed at the end of the wave, there is no benefit to getting it early so you might as well treat it like an HP pickup.
