WOW! Would sure would like to have the funds to upgrade from my K3. I am convinced that the K4 is the very best radio available, even before the news of this K4 to K4 functionality.

For 40 years i have used my Ten Tec Corsair. I couldn't find a modern radio that had QSK as nice. I broke down and bought a K4D. This is absolutely the finest radio I have ever used. The receiver pulls in signals the Corsair can't hear. The QSK is better than the Corsair. Save your pennies and get one!

The remote stuff is awesome. I remote a 7300 & 9700 full time as my main station. Makes my coax runs super short (40ft) and keeps a lot of clutter off my desk. I could see guys putting K4s at the base of a tower and using the K4-Zero inside over a network connection.

It's a shame that it's such a bad radio for when you have inband on contest stations. Everything else is ok.
