He goes above and beyond for them. Quick comment on workplace abuse. I work in a fairly stressful environment on massive multi-million dollar tools that help make microchips. When the tools are down, the company is losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in product an hour sometimes. When things aren't going great, no one ever yells anymore. The two supervisors who did have been sent to anger management training, and both of them are actually happier people over all in both their work and professional life. Even stressful environments dont actually need yelling to function. I dont care personally, and I dont think it is abuse, but it isnt needed.

The real drama about Ethan recently is how aggro he's been towards other people, unjustifiably. He's been lashing out a lot and it hasn't been from a place of comedy, it's been actual frustration and it comes off bad-faith and really gross. He just shit talked Adam Macintyre, a victim of Colleen Ballinger that he had on his show for content, and was friendly with, for expressing his opinion on why Ethan has been so unhinged lately. It was so gross and he was just trying to hurt someone who struck a chord, and probably said something true. I used to watch him for years, but I hate watching him these days, he's really lost the plot in the last year. Also, Sam wasn't just hired because she was a significant other of a crew member.
