Awesome tips! I noticed you mentioned at the 16:45 mark that Etsy uses the first 160 "words" used ast Meta Descriptions but I thought I saw it say first 160 characters. Perhaps I misunderstood? Hoping someone else sees this and knows the answer. Thanks in advance!!!

Years ago we were told to have title words in your listing descriptions. Then we were told no. So I edited 300 listings. Weeks ago we were told you needed the title words in the descriptions. Took me a week to change them all again.

@heatherstudio, This was great tutorial thank you. I don't why but I thought we had to use the same keywords from our title to add in our tags and descriptions. So we can use other relatable keywords in our description and tags that are not in our title? Sorry SEO is the thing that confuses me. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

I don't think it's bad to use the same or similar tags. I personally experiment with tags but generally use the same tags for similar niches myself. Hopefully this helps! :)

I remember when titles were actually titles. This is how saturated things are nowadays. You gotta put multiple keywords as the title just to be seen. Not a complaint. Rather is remembrance

For the last 20+ years when it came to SEO we have been adding keywords and titles to tax the listing descriptions and shop categories or shop sections websites and social media it’s nothing new under the sun perhaps Etsy is finally catching up
