Yes, the plaid blanket is very old. I'm 65, and i remember my mom got one and got me one with green stamps i still have both. You would get a book, and when you got stamps, you would lick and stick your green stamps in it when you got it full. You could get things the more books you had, the better the gifts!! 🧡💛💚

Hi Maranda, one of my favourite things were your vintage kitten picture! It is so precious and beautiful. And I really liked the quilt that you found as well as the quilted vest. I am always on the lookout for a vest like that, they are very hard to find here where I live on the Canadian prairies. My great grandmother bought my mom a plaid blanket very similar to yours in the 80s. She did all of her shopping through mail order catalogs. I believe it came from Montgomery Ward.

I am so consumed right now with creating all of my fall youtube and Instagram content that takes me lots of time and work to create along with everything going on in everyday life so it’s been a challenge right now to balance it all. Plus outside of social media working and being a homemaker and tending to my family/ household/ farm needs so life’s just been so super busy right now! We also just got back from being out of town for a week on top of it all! Haha I have so many items I need to post that will be up on the shop very very soon!
