I am an investor and a deal sourcer sold me a deal. I paid the sourcing fees and also the deposit for the two properties. The landlord has gone quiet, not picking my calls and has never given me the keys. The deal sourcer refuses to attend any of my money back. What can I do?

all industry ombudsman services are like this, they always side with the customer as they can paid per complaint, if the customer is always winning, they keep referring to the ombudsman. Ombudsman then makes all the profit for siding with customer with no investigations conducted and no regulations on the process, it's an oxymoron - the regulators themselves are not being regulated!!!!!!!!!

As an entrepreneur, you don't need regulations, but if you hire employees to source deals, then they must be fully compliant, NOT you. You can also have business partners who source deals and are fully compliant. Deal sourcers who sourcing deals by themself are actually self-employed; they do not own their own businesses.
