One of my subscribers came down to visit me here in Poland. We went to this huge food festival in the Wroclaw Market square. So much great food and drinks. The people were so friendly and it wasn't just Polish food. They featured food from all over Europe. We sampled some foods, drank some Polish beer and had a great time. There was even a rally for Ukraine, featuring a giant flag that was half Ukrainian and half Polish. Come join us for food and fun in Poland!

Jarmark świętojański -> Saint John market however in Poland church inherited the pagan slavic traditions (simmilar as they did in Southern America) so its a celebrating the first day of summer more or less :)

Pierogi - misunderstanding, i.e. a dish promoted by the tourist industry, the real status (in the cultural sense) of this dish in Poland is much lower than it might seem to foreigners. Traditional Polish cuisine died in 1939, what today is considered traditional Polish food are cheap substitutes from the war and communism era.
