I just made broccoli salad last week when I meal prepped bbq themed food…I used tempeh bacon, vegan mayo, vegan unsweetened yogurt, pepper, green onions, & red onion. One of my childhood favs veganized.

try putting a dish towel over the top of the insta pot right before you release the valve that way the steam doesn't freak you out

I love love your channel- I would love to start eating clean like this to get off cholesterol and drug pressure medications. I really don't like Quinoa but will try all the other recipes. You should write a cook book!!! What I love about your recipes is that I can go to Aldi and get a lot of the ingredients- I don't live near a Whole Foods or a Trader Joe's. Keep up the great work- you are an inspiration and whether you know it or not- you are changing a lot of lives and the health of your viewers.

Out of all the cooking and recipe videos, yours always give me the most inspiration. I have tried several of your recipes with much success-including your tofu based ranch dip! I’m not sold on the low/no sodium but I am gonna try it out! I don’t have an instant pot-should I adjust anything if using regular stovetop cooking? Can I also omit the potatoes, or should I sub something for them? Love your videos, you have great energy and the recipes are realistic and inspiring!
@Chantymarie2 жыл бұрын
thank you so much! if using a regular stovetop you dont need as much water and you can sub the potatoes for butternut squash or carrots! helps to add some sweetness. you can add a tiny pinch salt if you arent doing no salt!

Great stuff! Suggestions: fill the Instant Pot each time, cooking together ingredients that take similar cooking times. Store the resulting batches and create future meals by combining various amounts of the stored batches

Your video of prepped food is amazing! You are fabulous with your skill and creativity. I know you voiced in your video that you want to get a deep freezer for both of you to increase your food storage. Frozen food is in deed a game changer, but too much frozen food could get missed or just go bad. Making fresh foods as you always do, is sooo much better.

Wow I don’t know if I could do the no salt diet 😩 I could leave the sugar but salt 😬 do you miss it at all or does it get better over time and you just don’t even miss it?
@Chantymarie2 жыл бұрын
It gets better over time for sure! Sometimes I just add a small pinch if it think a recipe needs it. But now other food from a restaurant tastes sooo salty to me

So inspiring and great recipes. I literally have 2 crazy shaped sweet potatoes in my fridge that I wanted to do something with. This is a great idea...will try it this weekend.I like the liquid in the chili. That tofu looks soooo good. I could tell it was going to be good as soon as you started adding in a lot of seasonings!! LOL I've actually had the parchment paper slide off and didn't catch it lol. Woody Celery LOL!!!! Ok, I have to say, I told my daughter I wanted to meal prep a salad this week. This salad looks amazing and now I have one to make!!!!How do you reheat your frozen "nuggets"?

Just came across your channel and I love it!! Question, how long did it take to get used to no salt? I feel like food would be so bland without it.
@Chantymarie2 жыл бұрын
thank you so much! i think after just a couple weeks you get used to it but im not really sure how long it took me exactly. sometimes ill add a small amount if i think a recipe really needs it but you get used to it faster if you just cut it out. i still have some added salt when i go out to eat and stuff but now restaurant food tastes soo salty to me its crazy how your taste buds change!

How did you transition off of salt in canned foods and seasonings? Any tips? lol
@Chantymarie2 жыл бұрын
I just started one day cold turkey lol it tastes kind of bland at first but your taste buds adjust! If something really needs it I’ll add a tiny pinch of salt but the longer you go without salt the better the food tastes after a while!
