For Christmas I actually bought some oil perfumery perfume oil and “made” fancy hand soap by mixing them with unscented hand soap to give as gifts. It ended up being expensive but I liked having the control over the scent

I love the long videos! Thanks for all the body scrub reviews! Your descriptions of the scents are spot on for me. Plus it is a deal breaker if the texture is weird! Lotion leaving me greasy? Nope. A scrub that leaves a film? No way. A body wash that won’t get sudsy? Get out. Lol

The strawberry letter lush store note needs to be explored lol. I was just describing that newish Devotion perfume, and it definitely has the Lush store note to me. I don’t know how to describe it properly, but part of the dry down definitely smells like I made it in the lush store and I’m standing next to the bath bombs 🤣🤣🤣

I finally splurged and got the HOS Minnie and I love the bottle, fragrance but it wasn’t that long lasting and I hated that for the price. Shortly after…one of my fave small indie houses Genre came out with their take on this called Minnie More. I ordered it immediately and compared the 2 side by side and honestly, I prefer the Genre much more!! The scent is exactly on point, but the Genre has much better projection and silage!! I immediately sold my HOS bottle lol. So many great products and scents mentioned and some I’m definitely checking out…like Lalicious Sugar Lavender! I am all about a sweet lavender honey! I am not a fan of that medicinal smelling lavender, but like for example…the lavender scents BBW has come out with during the spring…love! I haven’t ordered btw from this small indie house yet, but here great things about Cocoa Pink and will be placing an order soon. They have so many scents to pico from and products like creams, oils, lotions, perfumes, etc. I’ve been wanting to check out shower steamers and appreciate you mentioning the ones that you love and don’t!!

Yass! I agree 100% with this statement much better than the OG (also Dapper makes a great dupe of the Minnie Mouse by HOS). Genre makes a great Blanche Bete dupe called Essence and I really love Mello Vanillo (Escapade Gourmande dupe) and Devin’s creation for Initio’s Psychedelic Love maybe called MDMA or something like this is close to the OG imo too! Also, off subject but the mixing of D&G Devotion with Mahni Cassonade by Navitus is Chef’s Kiss. Nishane’s Ani or Indult Tihota mixed w/ MC is great too! Don’t really like these separately but they are great layered together!

I'm interested in that vanilla lavender scent you talked about, and it reminded me of the LUSH Sleep lavender cream, it's like nothing I've ever smelled like a very sweet lavender and I am absolutely addicted to it... I wonder if it's similar to that more expensive sugar lavender from Lalicious? Probably a better price. Side note, CRISPY is a very odd word to pair with marshmallow

VS pink doesn't have the honey lavender anymore ,but they do have just lavender and I've heard it's the same. Just like the vanilla is the same as the vanilla coco they used to have. Maybe try it out? 😊 And i have the honey lavender body oil and it does smell amazing!

If you like the sugary lavender type, smells, you need to get the sleepy lotion from lush. That’s so good especially the sleepy shower gel. Oh my god that’s like the perfect sugary lavender fragrance. I think you have the sleepy body mist? Sleepy is basically twilight they just have two different names.
