I have La Nuit Tresor Nude and I just took it on vacation with me to Florida. Wore it every day and it was lovely. The vanilla really amps it up and makes it more special than just a sunscreen-like fragrance.

I think No 5 is one of the most sophisticated scents out there. Elegance defined! Yes, many people associate it with aunties and grandmothers, but I think we need to remember these women wore it in their younger years too 😁. It's always been fashionable and always will be, imo. Great video ❤

I have lancome soleil crystal, I’m wearing it this winter and gonna wear this all year around as well I suppose, because I love it) It is coconuty, slightly powdery, you can get florals in a background, and also can pick up the iris which gives this powderness to it. To me it definitely has that la vie est belle DNA, it is sweet, slightly powdery, floral and coconuty. Great longevity and projection. Recommend. And the bottle, ooooh so beautiful!

I always see the Salvatore perfumes at Marshall’s and Ross! Gucci Bloom is most definitely too mature and powdery for me, but I smelled it on a stranger and asked her what she was wearing and she smelled INCREDIBLE.

I prefer nude over soleil crystal. Nude is just blended better in my opinion. The crystal one I owned and decluttered because it smelled like the bottom of a purse. And poison girl unexpected is absolutely beautiful. It's crazy how it's fresh but gourmand at the same time making it an all season fragrance. And it lasts so much longer then the original Edt

You are my favorite fragrance reviewer. Our likes are very similar. Love this list and want a few of them. Really want to get into buying partials. Chanel No 5 is still my mom’s signature scent, but she doesn’t wear as often as she would like. I will be inheriting hers someday and it is a comfort. Since I am home today, I will have a few scents today. Starting off with Montale Intense Cafe Ristretto, then switching to Desnuda for the mid day, and Frank Olivier Oud Vanille for the evening. It reminds me of Santa’s pipe. Merry Christmas.

I have been so on the fence about blind buying Franck Olivier's Oud Vanille - such mixed reviews, but it does look like it could also be an affordable gem. I like the way you spread out your scents of the day! I do the same thing when I'm home - around 3 (am, pm, and bed. 😍).

@@CharlotteRossx the Oud Vanille was actually bought by my husband and he felt it was a bit too feminine for his taste. He kept the Oud Touch and I claimed the Vanille. It isn’t the smoothest, but you can’t beat the cost and it isn’t fecal like some I’ve smelled. And it is a beast on me so it is the final fragrance of the day.

I agree w you on the VVVI cus I got a 1oz of it yesterday before Sephora 20% fragrance sale was over and I sprayed that and the OG on my wrists and I couldn’t remember which one was more vanilla and more citrus.. by time I left the store cus I had perfume on from that day plus I sprayed tons in store so I did get the Intensa and I couldn’t smell it on me either.. I’m a overspray Queen 👸🏾 but I did get a compliment at work but again I’ve went thru about 1/3 of the bottle and only had it 2 days.. so I definitely agree w you on that lol it’s like where did the smell go🤔🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️😩

My favorite from Chanel is Misia. Has iris and violet, which I think you said you'd like to explore more. Misia is my fav make-up smelling perfume. Waxy lipstick, powdery powder, fruity, rosey perfumey, and it says there are aldehydes in there which is not my favorite, but I really don't smell aldehydes at all. Sometimes in the drydown, I smell a hint of milk chocolate.

I love Patchouli Tentation. I love the powder and I find it a comfort scent. I wear it to play tennis and to sleep. So calming and comforting. I love Dior Addict new version. Love, love! I do like green powdery scents. I love Poison Girl Unexpected rollerball - the orange is great. I like orange fragrances a lot. Seriously, you just hauled some of my collection. I have Misteriosa too - I get blackberry milkshake from that one. I use it for layering because it is so strong. I spray Misteriosa on my bra and wear Amethyst over top as the main spray for some green and depth with that sweet Misteriosa. Best on cold spring days.

That’s interesting what you said about Lolita Lempika and how it smells nostalgic of 90s. I owned a bottle in early 2000s and eventually de cluttered it because I wasn’t wearing it often enough. It’s very very licorice dominant and my ex husband didn’t like it much 😬😆

I had the same issue with voce viva edp. Crystal soliel is to my nose a bit more floral. I smell the ylang ylang verry well in it. I like both! Hope it helps!

If your going to get another chanel you need coco mademoiselle intense,way better than the original.lolita lempicka is a cheapy but for some reason I love alot of them,lolitaland, sweet.so yummy and sweet but in a good way and I love using them to layer.if you like a beautiful creamy bubblegum tuberose you need amouge love tuberose or my way intense is also good.for just a great tuberose go with le interdit the original or the rouge.if you want to spend some coin then armani prive rouge malachite!as for a vanilla you need to try v canto mirabelle or guerlain anelique noir, your boyfriend I don't think will complain.not sure if you have any of the ones I mentioned but definitely get your nose on them,they are all loves in my collection in my humble opinion.if you like orange blossom that smells like candy,it will make your mouth water,get oriana by parfums de marly.also lancome soliel cristal is more of a sweet orange blossom, vanilla and creamy coconut.its more of a thick fragrance, you have to like sweet scents,I love it!

Chanel no.5 reminds me of the 90s as well, lol. I received the edt as a gift from a boyfriend and it was a splash bottle that I would even wear to class...lol I still have some left in the bottle. You have me very cuious , about the John Varvatos Dark Rider. For some reason, I really like leathery scents and it sounds interesting. I have also been thinking about the Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse so think you're selling me on that one as well! Poison Girl unexpected is beautiful. I got that one first and then had to get the original after comparing both of them. Gucci Bloom the original is sooo good. I think the simplicity of it compared to the others just makes it the best one. Some of the others are nice but they are just like additional layers over that scent. The Ambrosia is my 2nd favorite. I'm also like you in that I didn't love Addict but liked it enough to add it in my collection. I'm currently waiting on a bottle I ordered. I think it's nice but it doesn't wow me.

I had a tester of Voce Viva and I really like the scent but I did feel like it wore off easily and I just couldn’t smell it. I ended up purchasing the intensa version hoping it would pack a little more punch. I do really like it but it’s nothing special. I enjoy it in the summer though, and I work in a medical office so it’s very non offensive and just an easy reach.

Great haul! Im a fan of Voce Viva but it doesn't have much lasting power. I wasn't sold on the intense so I haven't gotten that one. Cristal Soleil is LVEB to me with coconut on top. I have both both nude and CS because I love coconut in frags.

Weird! Yeah, Gucci Bloom smells like a perfect blend of tuberose that isn't too bubblegummy with some jasmine. To me, at least. I love it!

Love love love Chanel fragrances! My personal go to everyday is Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. My absolute favorite!! So fresh and clean and I get lots of compliments. I just recently got Coco Noir and I am also a huge fan. It definitely is more of a nighttime scent but so beautiful. So glad I got it! Definitely check those two out ☺️👍

Supposedly the Lolita Lempicka Le Parfum is the original formulation. They brought the original bottle back.I bought Voce Viva Intensa and returned it. Idk how they can claim it's intense. There's nothing to either of them. Only their Donna line seems to be good.

Ah, I see! Thank you for that Kristi - I was a little confused as to whether they did rerelease another in the same bottle. Very good to know, especially since there seem to be a few different ones that came out in more recent years and they ALL seem to have different enough notes. 😅 And yes, Voce Viva Intense I think can only be considered intense in comparison to the original Voce Viva - Definitely not an "intense" fragrance on it's own, I agree. I love Donna Born in Roma and I'd love to try some of the others from that line... Do you have any favourites or recommendations from that line? I just tried the Patchouli Tentation in Duty Free today with zero hopes but I actually really enjoyed it! Tbh Chanel isn’t my favorite perfume house but I’d recommend to try the Les Exclusifs if you can. I really like Coromandel and if you like super woody, smoky then try Sycomore. Jersey is a sweet, balsamic vanilla. I have LNT Nude and Soleil Cristal and think Soleil Cristal is more unique because of the iris. They smell very similar and you probably don’t need both. Nude was a gift from my partner so I won’t let it go. Happy New Year 💕

I honestly love both of them! Longevity-wise I would say the OG Poison Girl is a just a tad better. Unexpected has a slight fresh aspect to it without it coming across as a fresh fragrance or watered down version - it's still intense and gourmand. It still has great contrast with the warm spicy ginger and citrus and nutty gourmand dry down - just slightly different notes and smell with the dominant ginger/orange and hazelnuts. If you had to pick just one, I think I would go with the original. If you really like the original and want more, I think you would also like Unexpected. ☺️
