I’m releasing this video a tad later than I planned to but would still love to hear what you’ve been enjoying this summer (perfume of course, but anything else you’d like to share too!). I’d love a banana video! I really enjoy that facet of ylang ylang, but I also get the banana impression from certain white florals like tuberose and gardenia. Truth or Dare by Madonna and the new Nomade Naturelle give me a distinctive banana bubblegum and banana candy (respectively) vibe.

You should also check out Ylang Ylang Nosy Be by Perris Monte Carlo if you haven’t already. Beautiful tropical, creamy, slightly custard-like ylang + vanilla fragrance with subtle spicy and sour nuances. Very true to the real flower.

Yesss, I totally know what you mean - I get banana whiffs from some white florals too! I have always wanted to smell Truth or Dare - it's such a shame that it was discontinued. Nomade Naturelle looks very appealing to me - definitely going to look into it, thank you. ☺️

So glad I got Ylang in Gold, worth every penny. I’ve been wearing Chant d’Extase also, so underrated! To me it feels like the ocean mist hitting your skin after you’ve applied a yummy scented lotion. Others I love for summer: Izia, Aura, Amethyst and Arizona Bloom

Yes Izia by Sisley, juicy and elegant. Arizona Bloom to my nose feels like it has elements of Z&D This Is Her but buttery instead of creamy and lighter. I def get a bit of fuzziness from the ambroxan too.

Have you tried the new Olympea Solar? My favs are Kayali Utopia and Aerin Hibiscus Palm. I layer them and wish there was one that combined the beautiful coconut in Kayali and the Tiare from Aerin

I would be curious to hear your opinion on L'Artisan Parfumeur's Couleur Vanille and Nobile 1942's Levante, those are other summery salty vanillas too ☺️ Also, have you been able to try Olympea Solar? This doesn't have the line's usual salty vanilla but it's such a bright and creamy white floral, I feel like you would like it!

I didn't know about Levante - that one looks really yummy 🥰 Unfortunately I haven't seen Olympea Solar anywhere in stores - I just might have to eventually blind buy it - it definitely looks like something I would really like, maybe even love.
