My tapered (athletic skinny) dark blue ones have a very slight break, my skinny black washed jeans have 2 breaks ish, and my black tapered jeans are actually pretty short and have no break. The skinny jeans are not too skinny, they're tapered in the right spots and are cut well. I'd say the waist fits true to size, I wear a 26 which is my typical adult size. For the length I'd say to maybe go with 1 larger since I am 5'0 and wear a 28. I really like Hollister jeans and would recommend them for short people!
