Hell to the yes! I dub Jenn Queen of Horror (QOH) . This is what we wanted and you delivered !! I would slightly rank a few things differently but that is what is cool about these lists , they will all be different . It’s really awesome how you could remember all of the games from the top of your head as well and you talk with real passion about them, especially with the games you loved. For me my s tier horror games are re 2 remake, I loved re3 remake and revelations 2 as well. The last of us part 1 only lol. Both little nightmares games would be s tier for me too. I didn’t get the bug in Callisto protocol so it’s up there for me but if that had happened it probably would demote it lol. Thanks again for giving it a chance! I would put days gone at A , I actually didn’t care about the main characters but love the gameplay and some of the side stories , like with Sarah . I actually loved playing post story for this game ! Thanks again for the recommendation. I never played the original dead space but I did play the remake and everyone seems to love it but me , I had zero jump scares, didn’t find the atmosphere that creepy and hated the floating around parts lol, for me it’s like a c . I’m pretty sure silent hill remake now will be on the top for you as well. Although I’m not a huge puzzle guy or fond of mazes , this game was super well made for me it’s an A but that’s just because of my personal taste but they did a wonderful job. @@loco_Fox I don't know about Queen of horror but maybe I'm the princess LOL. It takes real effort to remember all the games. I think KZbin has helped with that. I'm always worried that I come across slightly less than knowledgeable but when I watch the video back and from your comments it sounds like I did an okay job. Oh and I hated the floating around parts too in dead space as well as the running out of air. Both of those pissed me off. But that was only a small part of the game. I wonder if you would have liked the original better. I am so happy I gave Callisto protocol a chance and I can't thank you enough for gifting it to me. I'm hoping to get around to down the rabbit hole soon as well. I haven't played a VR game in a minute so I'm looking forward to it.

@@samanthaazira I think you'd really enjoy until Dawn Rush of Blood. It is scary but only the first time you play it. Once you know where the jumpscares are coming it loses its powers over you LOL. I totally could talk about games like this forever at some point when I have more metroidvanias under my belt, I'll probably rank those too :)

Among the sleep really caught me off guard. The first 15 minutes of it I kept looking at Scott and saying "Is this game for kids? Are you sure this is a horror game?" Another great video! Well done once again on the rankings, this is tough with the amount of horror games you've played. I'm impressed since I would have most likely forgotten at least half of these lol, and I've played a lot of them. Glad to hear you didn't hate on The Callisto Protocol like most people did, and I quite enjoyed it myself. It's not better than Dead Space, but if you played the Dead Space remake you'd probably like it better than the original. They did a great job, and even added some new content, to where it felt fresh and less repetitive. Also cool to hear that you guys play the Supermassive games. It's sort of become a tradition in our household to play the Dark Pictures games around Halloween, and we're currently on House of Ashes. Taking our sweet time! The Quarry and Until Dawn are probably better games overall, but it's nice to have the option to dive into some shorter stories from time to time. At first I found it really hard to verbalize even though I remembered I didn't have the proper words to explain it or just didn't come out quick enough. Still getting used to trying to get all my thoughts out even after 5 years LOL I loved Callisto protocol and you're right. Maybe I would rank Dead Space remake higher but I had just played the original so I skipped the remake for now and will eventually pick it up on sale. So excited for little nightmares 3. Another awesome tier list! I'm kinda demotivated to play In Nightmare (I bought it not long ago as it was on sale) now that I've seen your take on it! I've never heard of Infliction but now I'm intrigued! Cold Fear has been on my want list for a while and you're not the 1st one to mention that it's really dark and I've heard a lot of people asking for a Remake of it! Little Hope is my favorite in the Dark Pictures Anthology so far but my favorite Supermassive game is still Until Dawn! I've completed Days Gone 2 weeks ago and that game was phenomenal! A lot of people are asking for a sequel even if the studio said that it was canceled but I think that if we keep asking for one, especially once the Remaster is released that it could become a reality! Maybe Sony could give a bag of money to Bloober Team to do it? With the fantastic work they did on SH2 Remake, I think they could do a fantastic job on Days Gone 2! Take my perspective of in nightmares with grain of salt. While I was playing it I did enjoy it and at the time I probably would have ranked it as a B. The problem is I've played so many fantastic horror games that it just keeps falling down the ranks because it wasn't as memorable and the puzzles weren't as polished. There was times when I was in the world that I really enjoyed it. But there's one part where I'm trying to get to different rooms probably towards the middle of the game. That is just so convoluted. It completely took me out of it. I was very frustrated. I'm not great at puzzle games either though so there's that. I really hope the remake of Days Gone spawned a sequel. It gives me hope that it's possible but apparently Sony doesn't like money lol

I actually enjoyed it more than the Dead Space Remake and I love that series. I just played through the DLC last week and it was pretty solid as well. Did you finish the SH2 Remake yet?

I honestly think I'll probably go back and play the DLC of Callisto protocol and that says a lot because I don't often play DLCs. I actually did finish Silent Hill 2 remake and my God did I have a blast and was it ever tense! It's definitely a contender for Game of the Year but I have to let it sit a little bit longer to find out if that's how I really feel or if it's just because it's brand new.

Somebody likes Resident Evil I guess…😂 I enjoyed my time with Cold Fear but would agree it’s good but not amazing. The boat effects are one of the truly unique features of the game. These videos are fun to watch. I don't play nearly as many horror games as you, but we tend to agree on 90% of them. There are a couple I disagree on: RE 2 is a C for me because I'm not a big fan of any of the original 3 games. RE 2 Remake would be an A because it isn't as good as RE4 Remake of RE 7. I'd put The Quarry in A because I think it is better than the other Supermassive games. I'd also move House of Ashes to B with the others. I really need to check out The Evil Within 2 and Silent Hill 2.

I think for people who really enjoy Resident Evil 4 and 7, it's hard to compare and contrast those with the first three Resident Evil games. Great list. Firstly totally agree with Days Gone absolutely fantastic game and oone i always recommended. Only blemish on your list is Resident Evil 7. Once you get out the house the game falls apart. Marguerites section and the boat section are just plain bad.

The Silent Hill games you put part 2 & 3 S tiers & part 1 as a A tier. Very interesting you did that. I played all these games back in the day. I don't really remember them all to well. RNG Gamer is playing the Remake of Part 2. These games they feel like more of exploration & hardly any enemies in this. I played Silent Hill like maybe 3 times just because I wanted a different ending. I feel if you compare the 1st 3 Resident Evil games to these 1st 3 Silent Hill games, The Resident evil 1-3 games are a whole lot better than these.

I'm definitely more of a Resident Evil fan myself. I like more of a survival horror experience rather than a psychological horror experience. Yes, I actually caught some of his live stream last Tuesday. Typically I work when he's streaming but I was on vacation. I can't wait till he gets to toluca prison. It's crazy intense! I finished it up last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Then I played through South Park Stick of Truth and it was exactly what I needed after playing two pretty tense horror games.

Have you played killer frequency it a comedy horror game and the chant is definitely a great horror game and the 2 alan wake games are so scary for me but it makes them so good and merto games surprised me how scary it was. These two games the sinking city and call of cthulhu are great horror game These are some great games to play at Halloween if you haven't played them

I took a bit of a break from horror after playing Silent Hill 2 remake but sadly it didn't make it to this list cuz I hadn't finished it yet. It would absolutely 100% be an S rank game. Call of Cthulhu and the sinking City are both ones. I'm intrigued by and have heard of. I do believe we have call of Cthulhu but I would have to check. I'm going to play record of lodoss next, I desperately want to play a metroidvania and then I'll probably jump back into horror :)

Indigo prophecy was definitely better than I anticipated it being, but it was probably better in its time and I think that's where it slid down the rankings for me. It's certainly not a timeless game, but it was still fun and I enjoyed my time with it. Definitely a one and done though for sure

You're right, not quite a horror game but it's not quite anything else either. It's hard to know where to put all the ones you mentions. I haven't played Heavy Rain or Beyond 2 Souls but I have both. I played Detroit Become Human and LOVED it but it's weird, I didn't add it here lol. I wonder if it would be more dystopian horror? Maybe even that's a stretch

This is going to be controversial. Resident Evil 2 remake, was going to get an S ranking from me, Then 1 thing in the game that is a major factor in it, & made me buy DLC for it of unlimited bullets on my gun made this a D or F tier game.

@@RetroRivals I just had to cuz of Mr.X. I was wasting bullets on him a lot, he kept killing me, then I had to litteraly waste a lot of time running away from him, hard to concentrate too cuz I was going in every room 100% ing those. Not sure if you played the Shelly & Ada parts of this game, they are terrible. Especially the Ada part where you are solving puzzles to open doors, you have limited ammo & Mr.X comes to kill you on the Ada part.

I agree with most of your choices but in my opinion the callisto protocol is a S tier game and that man of medan is A tier game and madison is A tier game and in sounds mind is A tier game finally little nightmares 2 is a S tier game for me

I'm betting if I redid these rankings in a year. A bunch of them would change LOL. I'm sure the S rankings for me would always be S rankings. Callisto protocol was a tough one because of that glitch and having to bump down the difficulty level but that's just me needing to get good. Love hearing your opinion on how you would rank them as well. I wish I would have liked Madison more. Maybe if I would have played a little later I would have enjoyed it more. But at the time I had played so many walking Sim horror games that I was just over the walking Sim horror games by the time I got to Madison.

I have them, I just haven't gotten around to them yet. I almost played the first one last year but I had just finished a bigger game and didn't realize that first one is around 20-30 hours and on the hard side. I promise you it's one my short list along with Eternal Darkness.

So disappointed to see The Last of Us at S rank that's such a lame game. Silent Hill one definitely needs to be on an S rank way over the last of us 1 and 2

Oh I know you're always pulling my chain and that's okay. I feel the same way about Super Mario 64. I have no idea why it's highly regard it. I hate it every minute I spent with it and I played probably 2/3 of the game if not more

I have a 9 year old who loves mario and his favorite game us mario 64, I love that he loves retro game, but the only reason I bought that abomination was because he wanted it. He would ask me how do I beat this lvl, I would tell him I don't know i hate that game stop asking me. But he beat that game twice and got all the stars. I will never understand why people love mario 64.

No! No fast travel in Deadly Premonition! It is part of the enjoyment/suffering! Terrible driving is it's charm! Lot of games again i haven't played here. I play so little horror games overall. Also yeah Resident Evil 5 is much better than 6!
