The video that I have been talking about for what seems like months is finally here. Now I know a lot of you probably won't like Sally's new look and it certainly is going to take some getting used to. However, if we can refrain from any really nasty comments that would be great... I have already had enough from Hobbit ;). Hope you all enjoy this video guys, let me know if you think Sally looks better or worse now.

anidee - AND the tail. She obviously doesn't know how to "tidy" up her horse. TAIL...wash and dry and brush it out. Stand to the near side of horse's rump. Lift tail and place left arm under it as high as possible... With right hand, brush it out again. Take right hand and put it round the tail and keeping left arm under tail, run the r/hand down to approx 4-6 inches below hock. Hold it tight and cut straight off. Therefore, when the horse holds it tail when moving the end hairs are straight. Doing it the way she did it...when the horse lifts its tail ---the ends will be sooo uneven and "run up-hill" Very untidy...

ROSEMARY DUDLEY she’s not going to a show, the tail doesnt have to be perfect! Just needed to trim up for maintenance. I was just poking a bit of fun, not being a harsh critic. Shes MUCH more experienced and professional- I think she’s doing a fine job. relax a little!

You know, it is easier to start with the clippers to shorten the mane, then finish snipping up with the scissors (or solo rake) to soften the line. BTW, she has lovely rhythm at the trot, especially for just starting under saddle.
